I’ve been a loyal PI Guy fan for several years & I had the Lawmate covert cam on my wish list for years. You gave several reasons why the Lawmate cam is a better surveillence camera than newer iphones.
Yet, isn’t the ability to hold & record with the Lawmate in the open, at an angle thats Not normally an iphone recording angle , the very best feature?
Now, I bow to your experience and knowlege. Perps might not look twice at somebody just looking at the phone held flat in their hand. But if you are recording on a normal iphone 🎉and holding the lenses up, toward a perp, well that gives away your covert recording. Right?
