I am proud owner of unicorn from last 10 years. Around 80000 covered. But no problem with engine at all. Still going great.
Mine have started to give jerks at around 2500-3000 rpm.. not at lower, not at higher
May you could have issue with clutch plate.
@@vishwasshitut1699 I don't think it's the clutch plate.. gear shifting etc is working fine.. its only that spot of 2500-3000 rpm where it jerks.. perhaps carburettor

I used to drive my dad's 2011 unicorn as my first bike... awesome and more than enough bike for a college student. Me and my dad together clocked more than 2lakh kms on it and still managed to sell it for 32000 on OLX while purchasing a new bike(CB350RS) which we think was a great deal considering that my dad had purchased it for around 75K and it had absolutely no issues with ANYTHING...even the clutch plate was original till the very end when we changed it because of a fraud mechanic...A great machine with great memories...
Ever since (May 2005) I bought Unicorn 150 it has been a smooth ride. There were times when it remained idle for 6 months but it sprang up a surprise when a single kick brought the engine back to life. It s just a 'refuel & go' bike. Fuel tank is 18 litre (not 13 litre) capacity that enabled me to tour country side for weeks on end without a care to refuel.
Honda 350cc Highness though a very good bike remains parked in gallery for occasional trips but my good old 2005 model continues to remain quarter-kickstart!
Today's obsession with digital tachometer is killing the beauty of analog tcaometer

I think soo unicorn is much better then sp 160 i have taken ride of both bikes and power and torque of sp160 and unicorn is almost sane but.... The reason for purchasing unicorn... Is METAL TANK, LEGACY OF UNICORN, TRUSTED BIKE ALL OVER INDIA, TORQUE IS GOOD, BUILD QUALITY IS ALSO GOOD AS COMPARED TO SP160, AND GREAT MILEAGE, CLASSY LOOKS AND ANALOG METER ❤❤❤ all this makes the unicorn a better option then sp 160

Only 2 probs , 1. Headlight not good 2. If Highway usage is more oil leakage happens. Other than this it's legendary bike. Proud owner of cb uni 2014

Honda has tried to discontinue this legend by launching 4-5 new models. But this legend refuses to be phased out.
Original milage of unicorn is 55to60
I have bs iv cb from।last 8 years, over 1.5 lakh kilometer run.no problem on engine. Still riding as a primary byke.
This is the first bike of our family honda cb unicorn 150 2013 model & I like mostly this bike because from starting to now this bike never cheat with us on long route or short route .this is the first bike who I have driven
Verdict: Both are best bikes but for 2 differet categories: Unicorn is for those who love simple yet elegant bike with minimal features while SP160 is for those who look for more features as per new generation. Honda brought SP160 to target those category who wants Unicorn engine with modern features and looks!!

I had CBZ XTREME 2008 model . Then 2018 purchased Unicorn 150 BS4. My lower back-pain got relived considerably. However at highway it's looses power after 85kmph although the mileage is consistent at 50 kmpl with high octane petrol. dear @fuel injected, how the latest model you described is better than my BS4 bike! Awaiting your reply.

@@hitstraight Bro, please go for it. Don't worry about anything; all things are top-notch. Pillion comfort is next level, and handling is super smooth. But in my case, there is only one problem: my unicorn's gears are quite tight; they are not soft. But everyone is saying that because my bike is new, this thing is happening, and with time, it will become smoother.
@@vanshstoic as engine is concerned you dont have to worry bro because engines are same. They have done some little changes to make it sporty and performance based. And bro i honestly dont know about other things. But overall that bike is good too because you get fresh looks. Digital meter, Led head lamp, bigger tyre profiles, sporty looks, and hondas reliability too so in my opinion if you want to buy just do a little market research if your concern is about milage and performance. Besides that i dont find any negative point. But if you want more practical bike in terms of all things body, milage, looks(that's old but evergreen) the unicorn is best.
I doubt SP160 due to it's seating/riding position and comfort as it is more aggressive and sporty. I want more comfortable bike for rider and pillion(GF) for long rides.😉
Honda should upgrade basic features in Unicorn like LED headlights, digital meter, etc.
But even for looks Unicorn doesn't feel like old generation bike for
aged Uncle, am I only one who find it Classy and more attractive than SP160 ?
For the long....road_trips, this bike should be your best friend. Bcoz , A bike with the ⚡ Kickstart ⚡ is the best. The ⚡Kickstarter⚡ is the "Secondary Life Saviour" on the🛣...Long...Road...Trips...🛣 , (Especially for 🔥 igniting 🔥 the engine in the ❄ Cold Temperature ❄ ).

Speedo is disconnected. New engine is revved and thrashed around....ultimately the motorcycle is sold off to some customer who gets a raw deal..... please refrain from such practice.... please allot test drive vehicles..... Honda should look into this with their dealers...youtube reviewers should also support ethical practices....
I hv Hero Honda Achiever 2009...I hv ride more than 142000 km... I always feel Achiever & Unicorn is similar bike... Both were legendary motorcycle..
Those days Honda used to supply it Unicorn 150 engine to its Hero Honda siblings CBZ, Hunk, Achiever till 2014.But After break up of Hero and Honda 2014 , no more sharing. So Hero's engine quality fall.Thats why Hero are lagging in 150 segments .

Honda unicorn breaking is not good compared to other dual abs bikes
Dual Channel Disc Brakes Bikes naturally will have a good braking system. But HONDA UNICORN 160 New Model is a Single Channel ABS Disc Brake (only in front) Rear Brake of HONDA UNICORN is Drum Brake. HONDA should have atleast given Dual Channel ABS Disc Brakes as an option.
Older UNICORN Bikes had Single Channel Disc Brake.

It's the 1st byke of my family. Its too smooth. It has gear shifting and compressure issues, head light is insufficient to ride confidently at night. Which I suffered the most. Otherwise everything is good.

Bhaut shaandar bike hai very comfortable... Mene bhai 8 years wait kiya and ab jakar liya bike ko and National Highway pur bhaut shandar performance deti hai bike 5300 RPM 70-80 ki speed pur....

Truly a legend, was my first vehicle I bought in Jan 2006 and rode it till 2010 when I moved to NZ. Someday, when I move back to India, I plan to purchase another Unicorn to relive the nostalgia and my younger self.
