- A security guard is in serious condition after a shooting outside Drake’s home in Toronto. Police asked the public for help as they search for suspects. A representative for Drake said the singer was not hurt.

It's between OVO and XO, two labels based in Canada. Where XO were shot at by OVO members recently, which shows motive by them to retaliate.
The Kendrick beef is just coincidental and the images and location of Drakes mansion is very publicly known already. Kendrick wouldn't start physical beef with a soft rapper like Drake, who doesn't come from that lifestyle.

That’s how people in Canada and the UK speak. They say “to hospital” where Americans say “to the hospital”. They also say someone is in hospital vs in the hospital. I have heard some Indians say this as well. I find it odd when people say they can’t tell the difference between Canadian accents and American ones.

With just a lil detective work you run across a shooting that left one dead and another injured just a year ago in Drake's area there in Toronto. Had nothing to do with the disses going on, its a beef that is more in Canada's territory ;)

Why were the music tracks shown? I don't think that was the motive.
Please people don't fall for this gimmick. UMG wanted Kendrick and the weeknd to put out a statement to end beef. Drake said all lies and has master manipulators to draw sympathy because the drake stock is crashing along with his sponsorships. Akademics put Kendrick on the clock to make it seem like he is scared to respond but UMG will probably have Kendrick unalived if he pulls any more of the curtain back. "5% will catch on but 95% is lost"

There's even a video of Drake doing a tour with a similar sky view shot of the estate still up on RUclips from 2 years ago.

Does anyone think that the security guy may have been shot in an attempt to quiet him because of the recent rumours regarding other celebrities and their security guards disclosing personal information about them because they are aware of their dark secrets? This might have been an attempt to get rid of someone close to Drake who has extensive knowledge of Drake's activities.
