Israel is an ally of which we share invaluable technology and intelligence. The amount is tiny.
Are you screaming about the $200 billion we have sent to Ukraine? They are not even in Nato. We have US citizens held hostage in Gaza.
Israel also shares a rich history of intertwined culture and heritage.
Israel & US have a defense agreement, MOU wherein they allocated approximately 12.5B USD and for that amount, Israel turns around and purchases military equipment, weapons, missile defense replacements, etc... so it goes back into the US economy. Israel tests and implements innovative changes to some of the aircraft, missile defense battery and radar systems and shares all this with the US. Also sharing invaluable intelligence to keep our country safe. Other countries in region get that much US aid or more and we do not see returns on these investments.
