It was a bit far from downtown, but I love the Cebuano's positivity, incredible energy, and devotion for the festival! This full walking tour started at the Santo Niño Basilica in downtown Cebu, then to the Plaza Independencia, then a long 5km walk to SM Seaside and finally to the SRP Grounds. We were there that day, a group of 33 tourists from USA, with own tour guide and bus. It was kind of of disorganized. We paid for seatings by the grand stand. It was chaotic in the midst of heat and humidity. We left after the mass. There was a drown hovering over people. You’re just showing the crowd, not the performances which we didn’t see at all. Fortunately, the winners performed at the hotel we stayed in. We had closed contacts with them. It was amazing! Thanks for your effort to show case the crowd.

Oh my! So you walk from colon to srp? You must've been exhausted! I myself can't take that much walking. Anyways, I commend you for your effort covering this festival. It is no secret how tiring this celebration as people tend to huddle so much. But that's Sinulog. I may not be Catholic, but I honor this culture wholeheartedly for it is part of my hometown. And Indeed, there is nothing grander than the Sinulog Festival. Pit Senyor Ka-Sugbuanon!
After watching Panagbenga in Baguio city & then this one, Wow! From a bit calm atmosphere, neat surrounding, beautiful floats & overall a well organized/managed event - to this! quite the opposite, this one looks chaotic seems like no crowd control, floats are nothing special(perhaps not really considered part of the main attraction). And so much litters/garbage everywhere wth! giving me almost like a party vibe. Anyways, just an honest obvious observation.
Sayang sir hinde mo po pala nafeature yong 3D LED Billboard ng Nustar Resort and Casino...yan po pala ang largest 3D LED Billboard ng Pilipinas at 620 square meters and the only Jumbotron 3D LED Billboard of the Philippines. It is bigger than BGC LED Billboard, which is only 400 square meters. Nauna lang maglaunch ang BGC.

It's because they are only few contingents joining, only 17 😢 so the parade started late compared to last sinulog where street dancing started at 8am.. but hopefully next year, it's going back to normal for 30 participants and more.. the place is perfect if you have a lot of sinulog participants

Just wondering that the people are celebrating a small baby Jesus then afterwards people are partying excesivelly drinking alcohol, littering the whole city with trash,pickpocketing is rampant.Lot of people local and foreign tourist lost their belongings.

Oh my! So you walk from colon to srp? You must've been exhausted! I myself can't take that much walking. Anyways, I commend you for your effort covering this festival. It is no secret how tiring this celebration as people tend to huddle so much. But that's Sinulog. I may not be Catholic, but I honor this culture wholeheartedly for it is part of my hometown. And Indeed, there is nothing grander than the Sinulog Festival. Pit Senyor Ka-Sugbuanon!

After watching Panagbenga in Baguio city & then this one, Wow!
From a bit calm atmosphere, neat surrounding, beautiful floats & overall a well organized/managed event - to this! quite the opposite, this one looks chaotic seems like no crowd control, floats are nothing special(perhaps not really considered part of the main attraction). And so much litters/garbage everywhere wth! giving me almost like a party vibe. Anyways, just an honest obvious observation.

miraculous on Sinulog day it was sunny. Days before and even after was cloudy and rainy. Only on sinulog day was sunny all day for cebuanos.

It's because they are only few contingents joining, only 17 😢 so the parade started late compared to last sinulog where street dancing started at 8am.. but hopefully next year, it's going back to normal for 30 participants and more.. the place is perfect if you have a lot of sinulog participants

Just wondering that the people are celebrating a small baby Jesus then afterwards people are partying excesivelly drinking alcohol, littering the whole city with trash,pickpocketing is rampant.Lot of people local and foreign tourist lost their belongings.
The amount of empty bottles and other trash on the street and at the parks is crazy.
