seicoo Thomas Sure! Summertime is a great time to visit the city, let us know if you need any help finding accommodation and we'd be happy to assist you.
@YitzO Thank you so much for your comment! We are sorry we forgot the Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem, but we are glad you gave all the info about in in your comment. There are so many things to do / see in New York that we cannot cover everything. Fortunately, we often get comments like yours which actually complete our videos. Thanks again for sharing this with us! :)
@LowerEastSideTours Thank you for your comment, and for sharing a link with us too! We like it a lot when people give additional info in the comments of our travel guide videos ;)
Thanks for your comment! The L.E.S has so many great things to offer that of course we missed a couple :) Sorry about that and thanks a lot for your input!
@mack343434 Hi, Thanks for the nice comment! Since we do most of our videos on either NYC or Paris, I spend part the year in each place. The best of both worlds! :) And yes, you should definitely come to New York, whether for a short or a long visit. There really is no other place in the world like NYC!
@indieFilmFanatic91 Thank you for your suggestion! It is amazing how much we can film in New York, there is always something we can include that we did not think of or have time to do yet. Filming the alphabet streets is a great idea, we will try to do this in the future :)
I grew up in the ower East Side and you did not mention the history of the La Guardia Houes,Valadick Houses, The Rutger Houses, and the Smith Houses. I was 4 when my parents moved there. I'am 58 now and we meet up on rutgers street 6 times each summer to play stickball.
@masterlee123 thanks for your comment. Not sure what you’re referring to, but it’s true we’re always limited in what we can capture in our videos. We’re always open to viewer suggestions!
@onyxie1694 This is indeed a very good question and a difficult one to answer as the differences in cost of living in Manhattan is getting less and less pronounced. With the rehabilitation of some neighborhoods over the last couple of years and the desire of the city to transform any vacant areas into living areas (one of the last ones has been the West Side and the Meatpacking area with the arrival of the Highline project) the cost of living is becoming more uniform. ( more below)
@mack343434 Hello mack343434. Thanks for your comment. Actually I say “Moorish Revival”, which is an architectural style that was popular with architects in Europe and the Americas in the wake of the Romanticist fascination with all things oriental. The style is also called “Neo Moorish”.
@onyxie1694 ... There are still some neighborhoods that we can say are more expensive than others, mainly because of the cost of real estate, like the Upper East Side, Gramercy area, West Village, etc… The cost of food, transportation and daily expenses are not necessarily very different. That said, there is a bigger difference in the cost of living when you leave Manhattan and reside in Brooklyn, Queens or Staten Island. Transportation is very often convenient to and from Manhattan.
DETROIT- MOTOWN-MOTOR CITY,MICHIGAN the DIRTY MITTEN. great video. im going to look you for a spot to rent the next time i visit the big apple in the bowery or hells kitchen..
@soupy2 Hello soupy2. We don’t have any furnished apartment rentals in the Bronx, so we haven’t filmed in that particular neighborhood. However, I live in Harlem and find it to be a great neighborhood. Almost on a monthly basis, new restaurants, bars, grocery stores, wine shops, etc. are opening up in Harlem….
i like this one too (saw your video on chinatown). i think the bus tour i'm planning on going (found it on travelsavego d otcom -- won't let me post url) has some that goes on LES too. excited to see NY.
Can anyone tell me the best way to get to Lower East Side from Newark Airport. I am visiting in October with my daughter and can't wait. Soooo excited.
There is no better way to explore New York & live like a local than staying in a furnished apartment in the city! In your apartment you'll be able to cook your food, with local ingredients, invite your newly met friends & enjoy life as a New Yorker! If you wish you can visit our website & even send us a request with your travel details. You won't even have to search for an apartment: one of our agents will do the work for you & send you a list of apartment suggestions :)
@soupy2 ... We actually shot a multi-episode series on Harlem a couple years ago. Feel free to check them out on our RUclips Channel. If you’re ever in Harlem, check out two of my favorite restaurants, The Red Rooster and Chez Lucienne, at 125th St and Lenox. There’s also a great new bar/restaurant that’s just opened, the Harlem Tavern.
your are wrong. Lower Eastside it's from 14th st Bet. Ave A to Ave D. From 14th st. to Houston st. I live their all my life. I'm now in my 50s. N I'm still here. so get your story right.

It is my life's unfulfilled dream to live in New york for at least a month. Do you guys know of any cheap package of vacation services for at least 2 weeks? I live in Greece btw.
I just got back from NYC I toured around a lot around the L.E.S. and went to the Tenement Museum. It is indeed interesting to see all those cultures have passed through this neighborhood and now its in trouble from people like this who's recording this video. Hipsters!
How could you forget the most famous yeshiva in America located NYC?the Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem on 145 East Broadway. This is the only building left on the block. Its Rabbi,Rabbi Moshe Feinstein was considered the greatest sage of his period. Its students became famous businessman, lawyers and professionals. It is still intact and runs a full school program and seminary.
Go on part one of this video tour through the historic Lower East Side in #Manhattan !
