I loved your video! I like the idea of using hot glue to create extra wells. Just wondering if the hot glue stayed in place?

yes, it did, no issues at all! and hot glue dries really fast so I was able to use it right away. :)

Nothing better than $2 porcelain serving sets and dishes for fantastic palettes at thrift store! I have one expensive porcelain palette and I use my thrift store porcelain so much more❤❤❤❤❤

I loved this. What would you do with your extra ochres, siennas, etc.?

Lol! Oh I have lots of random palettes around my studio. The extras end up in those which I do use too; just less often.

Great video! Can you please confirm if the bottom of the wells are slanted? I would like to put a blob of paint in the shallow end, and spray a little water that can roll down to create a diluted wash in the deep end. Do you think this would be possible?

Hi thx! So the bottom of the wells are flat not slanted. I do the same thing though with diluting some paint but it works because I don’t fill up the wells completely. The wells are pretty large, so I keep the dried paint on one side and the other end is for the watery mix. I hope that helps!

really good vid. i did have a bit of frustration though, not being able to read the swatches.... i guess the vid wasn't high enough resolution? or maybe would have required you to zoom in on each color group as you did it and talked about it. like the yellow group, then neutrals or whatever. (i realize you filmed this a little while ago but this is the first of yours i've seen, so i'm not sure.) this is meant as friendly constructive crit. i think you have a lovely format and this would just amp it up. thanks! : )
