I love how the video ends with a kidnapping plan lmao
wooting is the same as going from membrane to mech basically, its just a hardware update, or getting a bettee monitor, mouse, whatever, sure it kinda sucks its very limited rn and only some people can even buy it, but its like saying mech keyboards are cheating or having a good mouse is cheating
i agree, however, this is slightly more of a software upgrade rather than a hardware upgrade considering that this is primarily driver tinkering with pre existing optical switches
@@RedNinjaRacer_ Not really true, the wooting keyboard uses hall effect switches, which are quite different from standard optical switches.
@@dawson6294 oh they do? thats awesome i didnt know that
@@dawson6294 hall effect switches? Aren't those worse than opticals in terms of latency?
@@sid6645 Not that I know of. It certainly doesn't seem to have any issues when measuring. You may be thinking of switches from like super old keyboards, which are obviously going to be different from how these new modern switches are

If the meetup were to really ever happen, just use an iPhone high-speed record mode. Nice and simple. Someone is bound to have one, yeah? It's actually a pretty decent high-speed camera for a casual thing like that. It really would be kind of cool to see the strain the body undergoes to accomplish the crazy thing we do that is Osu streaming. Not a bad idea regardless if there is ever another Osu meetup tournament!
Bro they literally have professional cameras
Im sure their existing professional cameras have some kind of slow motion already. An iPhone would be a downgrade most likely but it wouldn't be a bad idea.

whats wooting what
why does he always has so f up ideas lmao
300bpm stream ability is easy to have: just play the game for like 3 years every day. Also have accuracy at 300bpm is harder: let your life at the game
Jesse what the fuck are you talking about
There is 10s of thousands of players who have played the game consistently for more than 3 years and still can’t do it he just has a lot of talent
Average 6 digit comment
just play less easy shit
@@xenbtw9336 there is a difference in playing for improvement (skill cap pushing look for your weaknesses and so on) and playing for fun (always staying in confort zone and playing for pp only) so its the players fault if he chooses to play for fun instead of improving and then some idiots say its "genetics" even tho the one with "genetics" just played outside of his confort zone. Osu is basically like working out but just really simplified and alot easier (easier in terms of progressing in osu you can basically see improvement every week where as in working out you wont at some point (except if you arent natty anymore then its problaby true again but only for a short time))
so?
I can't even regular stream 180 wtf even is this bullshi7

@@pulloutcouch6446 thank you kindly for the advice im going to practice it and hope my pointing finger dont lock too much 🤣🤣
what is wooting
it’s when you woot and then proceed to say, “it’s wootin time”
probably referring to the newer wooting keyboard
keyboard that people call cheating because it has a function that makes it so you don’t have to press down as far to activate the switch
@@ballsmaster6937 so theoretically people have the speed, but they can't lift their fingers high enough? Cool, because i feel like i can reach the speed of 320 BPM, just not on keyboard somehow lol
A keyboard where you can enable rapid trigger, this allows any movement down to register as a click and it resets with any up movement, so you don't have to lift up or press down to a certain threshold like a normal keyboard. basically you can still acc through fingerlock to a degree and you can click accurately a bit faster becasue you dont have to worry about how far youre pushing down/staying at the same level as much
"4 digits can actually play 300 bpm" I've seen a couple 5 digit players who are really talented with speed but refuse to put in the work to focus on their accuracy. I've known a couple rank 16k players that are able to go 350bpm and pass with C but get really horrible acc. But its crazy how fast some people are and just care about speed instead of caring about improving.
The problem is there's a billion maps that are 1-2 jump cancer, or just jump maps in general, and not enough speed focused maps. There's no good way to really practice speed outside of graveyarded stream practice maps. You go from like painfully slow 170-180bpm streams in 5* maps to maps like the Yomi Yori maps which you need to be able to hit 7* jumps consistently just to be able to play a couple slow 220bpm streams, with rare exceptions like Rog Unlimitation (which the streams inflate the star rating of too much). I'd argue the only reason we've only really seen players like Merami being cracked at speed making waves is because they can also aim 7+* jumps.
Streams need to be properly weighted, and there needs to be more 220-250bpm stream focused maps aimed more towards 4-5* level players in order to really see more speed players start to pop up. My recommended beatmap difficulty is like 3.78* but my highest ranked pass is the 6* Rog Unlimitation, which should give you a good idea of how out of whack this game is when it comes to speed.
@@uihirasawa843 that's why DT exists? Players can get crazy fast playing lower star dt maps by working on accuracy. The highest I was able to push was 280bpm myself and I was only ranked 20k at the time. 280bpm stream maps won't be ranked 5* you don't understand how the rating system works
@@Elliot1215 DT isn't great for getting into speed, because as I said before, there's too much emphasis on jump aim in maps, even if they have streams, so putting DT on only makes those even harder; plus, lower star rating stream maps start at like 160-180bpm which get jacked all the way up to 240bpm (which isn't that bad) up to 270bpm (which is too fast to get into speed with). Also, I never said that 280bpm stream maps should be 5*, I SPECIFICALLY said that 220-240bpm streams should be weighted around 4-5* (except in the case of higher spaced streams), you don't understand what I said. In terms of lower spaced streams, 220-240bpm should be around the 4-5* range, 240-255 should be 5-6*, 255-270 should be 6-7*, 270-280 should be 7-8*, 280-290 should be about 8-9*.
Again, there needs to be more stream focused maps around the Insane-Expert difficulty range around 220-240bpm to help players get into speed. Putting on DT won't help since it jacks up the difficulty of everything else around the streams too much.
