dropping some info for moomoos & those who happened to come who come across onewe's egotistic cover, here's some info: - onewe is self-formed (3 of them started a band when they studied in music academy & then found 2 vocalists & invited into the band) & self-produced band under rbw. the have huge buskings experience so they are awesome live. they take vocal lessons even now to improve their vocals even more. they used to be indie band with no agency since 2015 till April 1, 2017 (they signed with rbw on this date, but as we can see, they kept them in basement before debuting). they were called M.A.S. 0094. their first song that they released in 2015 as a 5 members band was Butterfly finding flower. it was written by bassist & rapper Cya who was 15 years old. the song is about consoling "comfort women" victims. they did multiple buskings & money went to charity including supporting the women who still alive now. they as well performed for them this song too. their first physical album was released 1 year after their debut as onewe. part of money from sales of "ONE" going to support trainees who want to become artists. there are multiple examples of boys' kind hearts aside this. - Dongmyeong (orange hair) is excellent dancer & supported girls doing ddinga, maria & lunatic challenges (lunatic did all of the members). he's friends with Wheein - they usually arranged all the covers themselves - they performed with mamamoo & helped them with their contents/music multiple times. - guitarist with purple guitar, Kanghyun, recorded guitar for Better than I thought, I SY MAMAMOO: THE BEST album (no specified credit from rbw but based on style of playing its gogobebe & you're the best 2021), for me (moonbyul). - Kanghyun (guitarist), Harin (drummer) & Cya (bassist & rapper) arranged mamamoo medley for Solarsido, she credited them & even showed a glimpse of them working on it in the video. - Yonghoon (tall main vocalist) recorded whistle for "Where the wind rises" (Solar) and big part of vocals for Eclipse (the other guy who did is oneus' seoho but high notes is Yonghoon & quite a lot of adlibs too). he also was one of those who recorded back vocals for WAW concert. - Harin recorded drums for Where are we now but it wasn't included in final version, unfortunately, but it was in teaser for mv based on attentive korean weves who managed to understand it. he mentioned recording drums on one of the lives they are worth of your time 🥺

Onewe is one those performers I trust when it comes to Covering Mamamoo. They would literally stand out if given the right opportunities. I'm happy a lot of people are listening to Universe. They are one of those Kbands who will be very refreshing to your ears. Pls check their music out!

Rain himself praised him during the unit. blonde guitarist with purple. guitar is Kanghyun bassist and rapper with two toned hair is Cya (kee-ya), he's maknae (born in 2000). this guy is in top-10 of most credited 4th generation idols if you want to learn more about them, i recommend to watch long guide by ollie 0094, it's super helpful 🥺

ONEWE usually arrange their own covers, this one sounds like it's their work too, and they write and compose all their own songs. They've helped with making Mamamoo's songs too and also with Mamamoo's performances on stage as far back as 2015 (even before they were signed under the same company). If your interested, my recommendations for some of ONEWE's songs of a similar genre to this are AuRoRa, Trigger_ and Montage_ but all their songs are good! They also love to listen to and cover a lot of girl groups, not only Mamamoo, as they can have the most fun rearranging girl group songs. A couple of my personal faves other than their Mamamoo covers are their Aespa Black Mamba (rock version, concert fancams only) cover and Oh My Girl Dolphin official cover.
Yonghoon's rough voice, dongmyeong's keytar solo and his SASS!!!!, hyungu's solo guitar, harin's passionate drum, and cya's LOW VOICE RAP!!! Yeah they are a self-formed and self-produced band from 2015 (formerly known as M.A.S 0094) who had also worked with Mamamoo as a session band on occasion since then. They then got signed by Mamamoo's company in 2017, went through survival shows where they had to learn to dance by competing against dance-trained idols in order to promote themselves and their band in the kpop scene, and then finally re-debuted as Onewe in 2019. Onewe have also participated in making multiple Mamamoo songs, arranging Mamamoo performances/performed with them on stage and collaborated with Hwasa for their song Q. They previously performed Egotistic (+ starry night and windflower) as a session band for Mamamoo at Seoul Music Awards and they did Mamamoo's Gogobebe rock version at MGMA in 2019 too! They've arranged quite a few other Mamamoo covers too btw including their official covers of Hip and Twit, Mumumumuch (radio), Starry Night in concert and medleys even from before they were under Mamamoo's company; plus their keyboardist/vocalist (and hidden main dancer) Dongmyeong has done dance challenges for Maria and Dingga (all of them did Moonbyul's Lunatic dance challenge with her whilst filming this too hehe) 🥰

I don't even know them but I can honestly say that their cover of Egotistic exceeded my humble expectation.

ONEWE usually arrange their own covers, this one sounds like it's their work too, and they write and compose all their own songs. They've helped with making Mamamoo's songs too and also with Mamamoo's performances on stage as far back as 2015 (even before they were signed under the same company).
If your interested, my recommendations for some of ONEWE's songs of a similar genre to this are AuRoRa, Trigger_ and Montage_ but all their songs are good!
They also love to listen to and cover a lot of girl groups, not only Mamamoo, as they can have the most fun rearranging girl group songs.
A couple of my personal faves other than their Mamamoo covers are their Aespa Black Mamba (rock version, concert fancams only) cover and Oh My Girl Dolphin official cover.

I had no idea that Onewe was under the same company as Mamamoo. Makes sense why they're this good
Yeah they are a self-formed and self-produced band from 2015 (formerly known as M.A.S 0094) who had also worked with Mamamoo as a session band on occasion since then. They then got signed by Mamamoo's company in 2017, went through survival shows where they had to learn to dance by competing against dance-trained idols in order to promote themselves and their band in the kpop scene, and then finally re-debuted as Onewe in 2019.
Onewe have also participated in making multiple Mamamoo songs, arranging Mamamoo performances/performed with them on stage and collaborated with Hwasa for their song Q. They previously performed Egotistic (+ starry night and windflower) as a session band for Mamamoo at Seoul Music Awards and they did Mamamoo's Gogobebe rock version at MGMA in 2019 too!
They've arranged quite a few other Mamamoo covers too btw including their official covers of Hip and Twit, Mumumumuch (radio), Starry Night in concert and medleys even from before they were under Mamamoo's company; plus their keyboardist/vocalist (and hidden main dancer) Dongmyeong has done dance challenges for Maria and Dingga (all of them did Moonbyul's Lunatic dance challenge with her whilst filming this too hehe) 🥰

- Dongmyeong (orange hair) is excellent dancer & supported girls doing ddinga, maria & lunatic challenges (lunatic did all of the members). he's friends with Wheein
- they performed with mamamoo & helped them with their contents/music multiple times.
- guitarist with purple guitar, Kanghyun, recorded guitar for Better than I thought, I SY MAMAMOO: THE BEST album (no specified credit from rbw but based on style of playing its gogobebe & you're the best 2021), for me (moonbyul).
- Kanghyun (guitarist), Harin (drummer) & Cya (bassist & rapper) arranged mamamoo medley for Solarsido, she credited them & even showed a glimpse of them working on it in the video.
- Yonghoon (tall main vocalist) recorded whistle for "Where the wind rises" (Solar) and big part of vocals for Eclipse (the other guy who did is oneus' seoho but high notes is Yonghoon & quite a lot of adlibs too). he also was one of those who recorded back vocals for WAW concert.
- Harin recorded drums for Where are we now but it wasn't included in final version, unfortunately, but it was in teaser for mv based on attentive korean weves who managed to understand it. he mentioned recording drums on one of the lives.
