As a veteran player who's NEVER ventured into a wormhole for any other reasons than to 3rd party a fight somewhere, your series has been very wonderful and relaxing to watch. I'm still going through your videos and have been learning so much from them. I really appreciate the effort you have put into this. Please keep up to the good work.

You got me back in. Commented a day ago on an older video but I'm back in and getting my house in order starting with day tripping and getting a scan alt put together. Really like your alt scheme and mentality.
fsghshsh silent battleground lets go. if those were worth more it would be the perfect site for you i'd imagine, since all the loot takes up alot of space and it's shattered only. such a weird site. I'd love to see you in a Superior Sleeper Cache one day.

10 would have been such an easy number to stop at but Im glad you didn’t! I’ve enjoyed your content more than any other. I never thought I would enjoy long format but I’ve watched every minute. It helped get me through some sleepless nights when my son was first born. Keep it rolling!!!! You da best.
The series continues for as long as I'm enjoying it. Thank you for the super kind thoughts, and the idea that I could help you through those nights is amazing, and I pride myself on your comment. :)
Killing miners seems to be the favorite activity for veteran players. Skill points seem more important than skills in this game. I think it's time for me to stop playing this game. Maybe I'll continue watching these videos. They make me sleep faster than counting sheep. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
1:09:50 two things really quick about looking through wormholes: first, the skybox on the other side is shown upside down (i.e. vertically mirrored) with a high field of view. So nebulas that look like they're right next to each other might be a good distance apart. Second, most of the clouds in the game follow a strange rule where they can't "shine through" a region and be visible to another region behind it. So for example, Venal in the north can only see the #1 cloud in Jove space and not the #3 cloud in Caldari space, presumably becasue Tribute is "in the way" of the #3 cloud. Similarly, Branch cannot see the #1 cloud (despite seemingly having line of sight) because both Venal and Tenal are in between it and the #1 cloud. Obviously there's a handful of exceptions to this rule, with most of the nullsec ones dealing with the #11 cloud. However, if you take both of these into account, the only two options for the other end of that wormhole are Pure Blind or Black Rise. And the deciding factor would be that Black Rise can see the #4 cloud and Pure Blind cannot.
One last thing I wanted to touch on, EVE-NT Designer is a web based demo for a machinima tool in development that uses actual assets from the game. I use it to look at the skyboxes in a 3d environment, which has helped a lot for learning the skyboxes without having actually been to all those regions. The web interface is a bit clunky, but it works.
Some good corrections and information in here. I'm 100% adding EVE-NT Designer to my list of resources for jspacers, that's awesome! Thank you for the in-depth analysis and tips. Appreciate you.
Hell yes. Late to the party but Black Ops are easily my favorite ship type in the game, and the only T2 Ship I took the skill to Level 5 on (excluding Logi 5 on an alt). You are pretty much uncatchable and unkillable bar a lack of intel or hubris. And I am quite happy you realized its a solid PvE boat. I've flown the Panther on/off for several years in low sec running DEDs, and probably best thing about it is how opportunistic it is. You can easily PvE with a PvP fit and when the opportunity knocks you can just drop on a target you find. Quite flexible, and with flexibility comes never being bored. There is always something to do with them. Not much use in Wormholes, in and of themselves, but if you like staging out of a low or null static as you look for things, I can see it being quite useful. Though, as you noted, your current target selection (both PvE and PvP) just quite simply doesn't warrant it, especially since it ties up a character slot. Though it does have the benefit of having no locking delay from cloak just like Stealth Bombers. Maybe you can come up with something utilizing that quirk like alpha'ing haulers with an arty build or something, if it ever makes a return. Super niche though, but I like niche. Thanks for making this series. Lived in or worked with wormholes basically my entire 'career' and even I learned a few things in this journey.
It's all a matter of perspective. The tools are all there - it's up to us to appreciate them. Thanks for commenting with your thoughts, it's awesome to hear from people going through similar revelations as myself.

Yeah this is gold dude, im a long time null sec nomad and watching you has been educational and has helped me in my journey. Keep it mate you adding value.
Man I have played Eve again for about a month after about an eight year break. I have been living in a WH for a week and now I feel like lowsec is so dangerous by comparison. WHs are sooo chill by comparison. Almost safe, too. Almost...
So much good stuff in this installment, thanks! For the most part I live in LS, and the advantage to me is stability you don't find in wormholes... something I wasn't aware of until I tried imitating some of what you do. I know who I'm going to need to fight or run from, who I can make friends with and have a pretty good idea when they will be around. Of course you need to watch for neutrals, but local is a better indicator than D-scan. Low sec is not nearly as lucrative as wormhole life, but I like having the ability to hop on for 20 minutes or an hour and have fun without all that tedious scanning. I'll probably remain a daytripper where wormholes are concerned, but I certainly spend a lot more time there than I used to.
Good analysis of the factors that make lowsec familiar/comfortable for some and scary for others. If I've truly influenced you in even the slightest of ways to dipping your toes into jspace more often from the lowsec side, then I consider that to be one of my greatest wins to date. :D
Great videos! Thanks for taking the time to making these. I'm a huge fan of JSpace, and this is right up the alley. :) About the cloud being different, is the case. But the animation of the puffs are rendered pr client. Instead of the server being loaded with the position of the different puffs, the client renders it. This is why it seems different for each of your clients. Just making the client do the calculations instead of the server.
Look at your tools and figure out what you want to do. Hey! Thanks for your efforts on these videos. I've been binging them the past couple of weeks and you've convinced me to go to the hole for some nomading as well as to achieve some bucket list items that I haven't gotten to these past 12ish years playing EVE. Love your always positive attitude and way to find something to enjoy about whatever it is you're doing (including dying)! It's refreshing in EVE. Your voice sounds very familiar too. I truly like how you have taken the "nomad" approach but then also use it to do many other things (low/nullsec dives; BLOPs; etc.). Any chance you would tell us more about your multi-boxing and character training methodology? The overview of your character roles and accounts previously was excellent. Keep them coming!

When I left the game the Trig stuff was starting but Povch didnt exist yet. I'll admit the whole concept of it is really "sci fi". @@darkrydar That's awesome. Organization is a huge uh.. pleasure? of mine. It's the main reason why I needed an office space in game, to utilize the hangars (which let us store infinite items/weight and even repackage). Back in Jita, where office space is too expensive to rent, I bought a bunch of Tayras on my trader character. Assembled them with some cargo expanders, and now I have a second "folder" with the Tayras as folders. This helps me organize even without hangar bays that offices afford. It's weird but, if anybody would be like "oh neat" maybe it's you. :)

Just wanted to confirm what jump mechanic you're using at 1hr13 mins in the vid, is that a filament jump out of Pochven? It appears to land you in HS but I thought you landed in LS coming from an extraction filament. /RA
Really appreciate you uploading I understand you must have alot going on in your life but can I make a suggestion rather the uploading after one 2 hour video inn a month or longer why not chop it up in 1 hours video but upload a bit more frequently like 1video in 2 weeks or sumthing. That’s for creating such a series and for your service to eve community.
I'm happy you liked it so much that you want to see it more often! I have indeed thought about shorter episodes, but the truth is that I don't think I will - with ANT, at least. In the future, I have some other ideas for projects that would lend themselves to a more manageable runtime. But, with ANT, I value the continuity of production as a nonnegotiable aspect of it at this point. Thanks for the support. o7
Not sure why my EVE folder is messed up, it's in a different place and doesnt have the AppData pathway, had a look for simmilar folders but couldn't see any.
Yeah this happens. You can usually find your directory by right clicking the shortcut and looking to where it links to. Properties tab if that doesn't work.
Can't find it still, probably overdue for a factory reset anyway so might do that and reinstall lol. New player by the way and your series is by far my favourite I've come across.
Hi. I have one question. Maybe u already explained it in another episode but I didnt watch it all. How is it possible that rats are not attacking u while u are huffing gas in venture? They always jump straight at me when Im huffing gas.
Hi Jaroslav, check out episode 10 for details on this technique I've called the 'nomad scoop'. But the basic idea is that rats have a max range - you can stay outside of this.
This one. But it was teased at the end of the previous episode (watch the last few seconds) and was shown off in the episode trailer. I have been trained into it for some time though, as zk corroborates.
Truthfully though, aside from that one instance you've shown lol, I really love what I've watched from this series so far. You've all but eliminated my fear of wormholes and lowsec just by showing me what's possible and how to be safe and proactive. I also really respect your usual style of ransoming with loot. It sends a message without taking a potentially hard-earned ship away from a player, and it gives them the chance to learn without a huge demoralizing setback. Please keep up the good work!
I'm a fan of the speed boost that Cheetah + Helios get, but I like the slot layout of the Helios better. That's basically it. All 4 of 'em are great and completely equal for most purposes imo.
Hey there , here also an oldtimer . Enjoy your stuff . But I have a question . How can I get back into the game ? As someone that hasn’t played in a few years now
Hey, thanks for leaving a note! Getting back into the game is incredibly hard. Everything you know is useless, and everything you loved it long gone. But there's hope. Make a new character. The new player experience is so much better now, like, for real this time. The AIR program lets you tour the new avenues of playing EVE. It will be impossible for you to not become inspired again, and you can later fold this character in as an alt when you get back on your feet. This is exactly what I did with my pilot chalcid, to the letter. If you have a serious investment into your main char(s) and don't want to make a new character, I think finding a corp/group to take you in and nurse you back to competency would be the path of least resistance. People are as happy to gush about what's good and what's bad in 2022 as they were in 2012 and 2005. I can try to help you find a group to join if you'd like. Or you can just drop me a line on disc/in-game and I can answer questions you may have about the game at my convenience. Either way, glad to have inspired you and hope to hear from ya.
It's true. Gas mining (and resource harvesting in general) is really rough for a single account. But, that doesn't mean you can't do it. Just that you won't be clearing entire core clouds willy nilly! :) Good luck.
@@chloroken Well it's ok i'll be getting into my orca toon soon and mining in null i hope to eventually use 2 toons for macks and 1 for the orca too bad fire is currently under attack, hoping that changes soon. guess everyone needs content huh. thanks a lot for the videos as well this journey has been absolutely awesome to watch

Hi!! How do you do to see all ship name in space? 24:36
forums.eveonline.com/t/how-to-enable-additional-text-informations-on-all-brackets-in-space/135187 Hope this helps.
Which video did you get the Panther?
This one. But it was teased at the end of the previous episode (watch the last few seconds) and was shown off in the episode trailer.
I have been trained into it for some time though, as zk corroborates.
2:50 a betrayal worse than that of Anakin Skywalker. :(
It was super rude of me D:
Truthfully though, aside from that one instance you've shown lol, I really love what I've watched from this series so far. You've all but eliminated my fear of wormholes and lowsec just by showing me what's possible and how to be safe and proactive. I also really respect your usual style of ransoming with loot. It sends a message without taking a potentially hard-earned ship away from a player, and it gives them the chance to learn without a huge demoralizing setback. Please keep up the good work!
What was the draw to helios over other cov op ships?
Well unfortunately only having 1 account to scoop gas and not living in wormholes makes gas a lot less profitable ;(

Why do you keep calling J-space, ANOIKIS?
That is the name of the "alternate" galaxy that the jspace systems reside in. It opposes New Eden, the galaxy in which all kspace systems reside.
I would love to do something like this bad ass
