It’s not “Northern Cyprus “it’s TURKISH OCCUPIED Cyprus & yes the homes belong to Greek/Cypriots who were kicked out by the Turks in 1974 in the war.😢There is a lot of information available about these dark days for Cyprus 😢
@@cherylclare9428are you saying that on the greek side there is no land that belongs to people before war?? Dont be negative and political because there is always 2 sides story.
@@cherylclare9428 True..But the Cyprus problem did not start in July 1974. JUly (august) 1974 was preceded by the junta-sponsored coup d'etat by the junta's puppet Nicos Samson, the period of 1963-1974 when Turkish Cypriots were forced to live in exclaves. Not to mention the assasination of figures of figures of peace Derviş Ali Kavazoğlu and Kostas Misiaoulis. Unless everyone sees the whole picture and nothing is taken out of context, a reunification cannot happen. I agree with you though re stolen properties etc. But at the end of the day the responsibility and the burden of GCs living in half a country and TCs living in a ghost country with dented demographics rests with all sides. Everyone is a victim as well as an assailant.
@@metinkopan7933 There is land in the south that belongs to TCs. However, they were not sold to third party individuals and companies. There are different injusticies such as the GC-run RoC government not granting compensation, etc. But at least they did not seel TC properties to others to make the matters even more complicated. More importantly, the state of which TCs are founders has been hijacked. =/
There is no perfect country I agree, but the occupied area of Cyprus is not even a country. The only other country that recognises it as such is Turkey!

@@joobie1000 what I’m trying to explain is that in northern Cyprus we have an occupation by the Turkish army. Thank you Peter for the review. You do not have the face of a person who lies. I have decided to pack my bags in the UK and come to North Cyprus. I do not have that much money and i am looing to buy an old village house in Famagusta with three bedrooms and some land for a vegetable garden. Maybe in the future i can rennovate the house. I love village life, love the Turkish and Cypriot people. I have a question….. i have two older children in their 20’s….. if i buy a property and they come with me, will it be difficult to get resident visa for my kids? also i am divorced and if i marry a woman from another country - is it easy for her to come and live with me? I hope to arrive in North cyprus by end of april…….after ramadhan.
If your kids are 18+, they can get visa in two ways. First when you are buying property you can make them owners too in this case they are owners ins it is not problem for them to receive visa. Secondly if you are owner and they are not, you can make rental contract for them from your property. But first way is better. If you will marriage officially it is not problem to get your wife permanent visa.
@@DreamLifeCyprus Wow - thank you for that reply. I did not know that and it seems like a viable solution. I have another question, Since i am looking to buy a village house and i am from overseees it is difficult to have any idea what the village and neighbours are like. Is there a possibiity to seek from the owners of the property a 2 month or 3 month lease and purchase the property at the agreed price after that? i dont know if thats acceptable. My main concern is that we will not be accepted by locals and that would create a nightmare for us. Also do you act as agents for old village houses is Famagusta? Thank you agian for the previous reply
So you are interested of buying a stolen house and land from the “honest agency “?? Don’t you know that the documents that will be given to you are not the original what ever they tell you?Dont you know that northern Cyprus is occupied from the Turkish army??So when the solution will come and the Greek Cypriot will go back with the original documents what you will do??Let me tell you!!You are going to be prosecuted as well as loosing your money because you bought stolen land!!!!!Are you all so naive in U.K or just you?
U have to know that Tjis area is occupied since 1974 ,by turkish invasion army This land belong to us as Greek Cypriots If u buy this house there is possibility to sue u by the official owner who lives in the free lands in South. MANY PEOPLE LOST THEIR MONEY ,BUYING OCCUPIED HOME In case of solution ,all the foreigners they will loose everything Don't trust nobody It sounds good to buy a cheap home but there is risk to do so .Now if u come in free area and find the owener officially u can pay and get it It's up to you

One difference is that it is illegally occupied since 1974 and it is not a country there is only one Cyprus. Did you ever think that your buying property that belongs to refugees taken from the war. I would be ashamed..!!! Especially promoting it is even worse..!!

Yes 126 square metres
You're probably used to US square feet measure :)
126m2 is a very good sized apartment
If you have 3 bathrooms in a 126 square house that means 2/4 of the house is bathrooms 😂😂
@@helenfrantzis9868 it's 126 SQ METERES, not SQ FT
that equals about 1,356 SQ FEET
NOT a big house by US standards
Hi Peter, did N Cyprus get affected by Turkey's new election? As far as I can see, the housing market is through the roof in Turkey.
No. We didn’t notice this
