    Sprint Qualifying is over in Miami and it is Max Verstappen taking pole position for the sprint race but what did we learn, well in this video I am going to be doing a data analysis from Sprint Qualifying, Max may have been fastest but it was not the fastest lap from qualifying as that belongs to Lando Norris in the Mclaren but he could not make it stick on the Soft tyres. Because of this Ferrari are once again the closest competition to Red Bull with Charles Leclerc lining up on the front row, teammate Carlos Sainz is starting the race in 5th place just behind the very impressive Daniel Ricciardo in the VCARB who qualified an impressive 4th place.
    Mercedes are once again really struggling as both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell were eliminated in SQ2 and Aston Martin are behind with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll starting down the order in 8th and 7th but they are ahead of Lando Norris. What else did we learn well in this video I will be diving into the data.

    It's hilarious how the media were making a big deal of Sainz beating Leclerc but now it is the other way around again there is nothing 🤣🤣

      It's to do with Leclerc is expected to beat Sainz I believe. But I agree it is funny

      Watch out for Leclerc! The pressure from Perez might force him into a mistake and end his race in the wall. 😒

    I think on the 3 who were fighting to get pole,(verstappen,Norris, Leclerc) it was the tyre warmups which were different. Lando overheated the softs on the outlap and felt it in the first sector, Leclerc didn't fully heat them up and also felt it in the first sector but they came to him throughout the lap and verstappens tyres were nicely heated but started to overheat through that second sector.

      Yep you make some great points. It's interesting how the three different cars work in different ways

    As a mclaren fan I am grateful that the format for sprint weekends was changed because they can still prepare for the grand prix qualifying. Deserves at least top 3 in the grid. Car was mighty around Miami compared to last year which is a significant step-up

      McLaren looks very strong for the main Grand Prix and that should give us all hope there is a chance someone can fight Red bull

    This stuff is golden. What do you think will happen in the Grand Prix? I'm thinking along the lines of Verstappen, Norris, Perez, Leclerc, Sainz.

    Good morning at the sportsbook for the sprint race. Parlayed the 2 Ferraris with the 2 RB to finish top 6 for $500 gain then another $200 off Max/Leclerc/Perez top 3 parlay. Do you bet on this stuff Mr. Pulse? I’m positive you would kill it if you tried.

    I know it was a very tough one for Alex. Probably his worst qualifying in a very long time as he did grt his lap deleted and qualified last. But thr good news is that thr sprint and the main qualifying are separate so he has another chance in thr main qualifying to correct things 😊🤞
    Also, do you think Kimi Antonelli will replace Logan Sargeant at Imola or this season at somr point? Fia say they have receievd a request

    • @MrPulseF1
      @MrPulseF1  Месяц назад +1

      I think it just shows where Williams are currently. Hopefully they can do more for grand Prix qualifying.
      I don't think Kimi will be in the car at Imola, I also don't think he should be given special treatment. They denied Colton Herta because he didn't have super licence points (due to being in indycar) so they shouldn't give Kimi special privileges and wait until he is 18. I do think he will be in F1 this year but not yet

    it took Max 15 laps to go from P9 to P2 in last years race - a McLaren could get on the podium. I want to believe (even given that its only a sprint and no one really cares that much)

    • @MrPulseF1
      @MrPulseF1  Месяц назад

      It's possible and you make a good point. We shall see. Unfortunately some drivers are very forgiving when it comes to racing max compared to others due to how strong Verstappen is

  • @oldscooterguy1
    @oldscooterguy1 Месяц назад +1

    Several things, lol at simply lovey race, so true! It sucks that that apparently personal vendetta's by certain stewards have screwed Alonso, so apparnt his disdain for sprint after BS penalties. Finally, I think the banter about Shawwwlll and Carlos is funny because while Shawwwlllll is usually quicker it's also my theory that Shawwwllll has some Goatifi or Macepig DNA in his genome, too many unforced errors

    • @MrPulseF1

    This track has high deg, so it can play towards Ferrari than RedBull if the race pace between them is less than 0.4sec.

    • @mutleyeng

    I think the problem for McLaren was that they didn't have enough data on how their updated car performs on the soft tyres.

    • @MrPulseF1
      @MrPulseF1  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah pretty much. They didn't do a great deal of soft tyre running, they'll be able to adjust for GP qualifying
