This is a fermented hot sauce. There is very little that distinguishes sriracha from any other hot sauce except that sriracha usually has sugar, which this doesn't. I suppose that the carrot does add some sweetness but carrot is a variation not usually found in sriracha.
Sriracha is not a brand. Huy Fong's is the best nut they aren't coming back, unless you want to be gouged online by Walmart at $100 a bottle. lol I've tried the copycats and none come close to HF. They use only red jalapenos. Also, you need a little sugar. This is just a version but again, not close to HF.
