I was thinking wow I've not seen that many old style choppers in years then again it was the David Mann Chopper fest. I didn't think that many survived outside private collections and now a days everyone seems to be doing "Bobbers" or "Baggers" or all blacked out. Thanks for sharing
I was in a science fair when I was in elementary school at this fairgrounds, spent my whole life going to events here ,This is Awsome.Keep alive in the 805 Jabronis
great video I love the old school choppers that have the long springer front end I have a 1972 Harley Davidson 900 sportster chopper 7 foot springer front end my grandpa gave me my 18th birthday and yesterday was my 29th birthday April first 2017 4-1-1988
You probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown :)
I learned a lot a years ago not to volunteer. I hope you do get your own show though. There was a request sometime back to send a note to a producer regarding that very thing and I gave a positive response. Good luck!
Fun to see a swap meet out in the West Coast. Looks a lot like the ones back here in the East. You guys had a better cover band, some great vintage iron and palm trees :-) but what's with all the plaid shirts ? Must be a West Coast thing.
to bad you were going fast thru the bikes (but it was a 20+ minute video, so ok you wanted to get them all in) , there were some nice gems there, God i love them Oldschool bobbers... one day..
Nice video of some beautiful bikes. My one 'negative comment' would be the title of this video is called Chopperfest, and David Mann certainly liked choppers with long front ends. Too bad a lot of those long choppers were sorta ignored while there was more footage of the stock length bikes. Other than that, looks like it was a fun time. Enjoyed the vintage iron. Thanks. ;)
The name of the show is Chopperfest. David Mann painted for Easy Rider. Most of his career for them they short forked machines were the popular riders.
hey todd , hope all's well it's joey from n.y , yes it's cold up here , still having a tuff time finding a job but God take's care of me in time's like this. hey remember when we talked about my bike , I fixed it , the roller bearings fell out of the lifter and caused a mess, all fixed now new push rod's, lifter's, cam, cam bearing, steel breather, and oil pump . im going to baby this bike and see how it go's , anyway take care I hope to here from ya , be good todd God speed
HuntingHarleys hi trevor seattle washington don't listen to the RUclips diptards you could make a perfect video ABOUT how to cure hunger and fresh DRINKING water for LIFE and teach humans to FLY there will ALWAYS be morons commenting they do THIS because they HAVE NOOOO self respect and are filled with hate and anger dont loose a blink of sleep arguing back it only brings up ur blood pressure solves nothing. keep making cool vids im a 35 yrsr Motorcycle rider lover and fan i ride all types dirt snow street endro
Beautiful Old School Bikes!!!!! No wonder you're not stopping...the Fucking place is FUCKING HUGE!!!!! I did see a couple bikes early in this vid that screamed "David Mann..." To me the newer choppers are lame...but that's just me...your stuff is more my speed... Another thing I noticed is PARTS...I could easily finish building my Rat Donkey with just the parts from this happening!!! Good vid either way... Aloha, Chief
I give you a for effort, who were the MC's that got into it ????? And yeah next time maybe slow down and you walked right by some of the coolest choppers I've seen in a long time I wish you would've focused on the Old school choppers
Then edit your video. A little tip. Walk up to the subject, be it a car bike chick what ever, pause, and give viewer time to take in what they are looking at. Remember we are not there. As fast as you were going I thought I was at a high school track meet.
+Paul Seabrook another very good tip. absolutely not one of my videos, so far, are edited. #1, time I don't have, #2, lack of editing software, #3, often, the fact it is unedited makes it more real. However, if your willing to buy said software, and edit them, I'm all ears
Steve, the one in the book was my original paint Limited twin. This one was not in the book, it is (was) an older restoration when I got it that just now got re restored by Steve Huntzinger
+HuntingHarleys I wish that limited was in my garage .Hey Todd I been watching that 36 knuckle on you tube about 1 hour to go 23 bidders up to 149.700.00 reserve . not meet he didn't say if it was original paint ,said all parts were original.
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure it would have been nice to meet you in person. I'm still in NJ. I've never owned a HD before, but would be interested in a kick-start shovelhead from the mid-1970's. I have a 1965 Triumph T120R now. It's my little scooter that I like to ride. Hope the Californian sun treats you well!
+DimitriTheSaint I'm not at all sure. I did not get a close enough look to see how much was real or not real. I didn't have anyone watching my spot, so I was trying to get this all in without being gone too long
+Randlee Dowse Next time, I will be sure to have you watching any machines I bring so I can slow down and take a better video. I didn't go here, just to take a video. I went to try and sell a motorcycle. Motorcycles need to be watched.
David simply recorded the styles of bikes in painting for Easyrider magazine centerfolds at the time of the issue. This event is 12 years old. This "style" has been here all along
Probably 9 out of 10 don't know how to change the oil on a bike ,back in 96 i had a heratage and wentr to my local HD to buy parts and a -biker looking guy come in whit all the leathers boots and all the HD shit on it and wanted to make an appointment for an oil change .
you ever need bikes picked up on the east coast and brought anywhere you let me know , almost all i care about is bike cars jeeps and trucks but bikes come first ! check out my FRANKRUBICON videos from a few years back , dyna fxdp videos coming soon! my friend gave me a go pro
+Ric Aldrich I was more concerned with paying attention they did not bring it over to my space and fuck up my machine I had there then trying to get a video
+RaoulDuke48 as I just told +Randlee Dowse Next time, I will be sure to have you watching any machines I bring so I can slow down and take a better video. I didn't go here, just to take a video. I went to try and sell a motorcycle. Motorcycles need to be watched.
I'd watch your stuff...problem is you're there & I'm here... Just to go to one of these happenings would be a treat even if I had to sit there with your stuff....
It's cool picking up on all the conversations as you walk by. Great video Todd. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from New Zealand.
Thank you really brought out of my otherwise miserable day I don't really watch videos that are long but this one was a good one
Cool thanks for taking me I had fun .👍👍😎
I was thinking wow I've not seen that many old style choppers in years then again it was the David Mann Chopper fest. I didn't think that many survived outside private collections and now a days everyone seems to be doing "Bobbers" or "Baggers" or all blacked out. Thanks for sharing
the chopper bobber movement is HUGE, especially here on the west coast and in Japan
DjTommyKx I'm re-doing my 2001 Softail into more of an old school bobber look.
I was in a science fair when I was in elementary school at this fairgrounds, spent my whole life going to events here ,This is Awsome.Keep alive in the 805 Jabronis
Todd...More soul in one place then I have ever seen.
Damn I love old school choppers !!! I remember when they were just choppers, lol !! Today's choppers are more works of art, than works of life !!
Wish I could have been there. Thanks for the upload
great video I love the old school choppers that have the long springer front end I have a 1972 Harley Davidson 900 sportster chopper 7 foot springer front end my grandpa gave me my 18th birthday and yesterday was my 29th birthday April first 2017 4-1-1988
Slow down dude ! Great stuff but I want to SEE IT.
You probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown :)

At 2:16 there's the red cruiser with the really long pipes with fish tails, how does those long retro pipes not get broke on daily rides?
Well Todd , reading the comments , its evident self entitled is alive and screaming . nice job mate , thanks for sharing .
A nice mix of styles and personal touches. I really liked a lime and gold chopper for about half a second. Can't really tell much about it.
Great video. I feel like i was there.
Thanks for sharing the show Todd

Some cool "Old School" HD's... :)
Moving too fast....can't see the bikes.
I learned a lot a years ago not to volunteer. I hope you do get your own show though. There was a request sometime back to send a note to a producer regarding that very thing and I gave a positive response. Good luck!

Todd. A happy and merry to you and the fam, Opie and Doo Doo.
thanks Richard, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!!
Just noticed how clean and litter free the floors are, for a public event you don't see that to often.
Thanks for the tour bro, can always tell California dudes with socks up the waist
you walk just like I do. I just keep moving.
Thats EYE CANDY!!! I love Daves Pics R.I.P.
Hey Todd, what’s the average swap meet price for some ‘47 knucklehead bare heads that need a little work?
Maybe 500
Incredible show !!!

Depends on the pandemic

This guy sucks with the camera . SLOW DOWN!!!!!
+Paul Seabrook two problems with that good suggestion, no one paid me to do this, and two, I had stuff at a spot no one was watching
Then edit your video. A little tip. Walk up to the subject, be it a car bike chick what ever, pause, and give viewer time to take in what they are looking at. Remember we are not there. As fast as you were going I thought I was at a high school track meet.

I have no problem hitting the pause button Paul, why don't you make some videos.
Great content.. lots of cool bikes but unfortunately didn't get to actually look at any of them. Just blowing right by and shaky as hell

not original paint, he told me reserve is 150k. I've not seen the bike in person. I know the owner, though not very well.
+HuntingHarleys Not original paint ? It must be the open rockers on that model ?
Did you ever move to PA like you wanted?
+ash i I did not. actually had a place in Escrow too, then the hard winter's started. Changed my mind REAL fast
+ash i I get out to the Oley PA AMCA meet now and then. We might meet up there someday
+ash i I did not, the cold kept me away
What's the band called ?
not a clue, I did not ask
LOL, just realized that it's stated on the van: "Magnificent Bastards" from California !
6:30 lol, initially I thought it was exhaust pipes in their face too.
what's that at 22:50 ? a replica ?
+DimitriTheSaint I'm not at all sure. I did not get a close enough look to see how much was real or not real. I didn't have anyone watching my spot, so I was trying to get this all in without being gone too long
No Wonder...I'd fucking be moving quick too...
Why are you walking so fast?
Guess you missed the part where I say I have to leave the OP Pan on the trailer with no one watching it to get the video.
How do you ride that one @ 6:37? The exhausts would be blowing right in your face! He called it a “pimp bike.” LOL. A fucking Honda too!
was this guy running the Olympics?....you missed all the good stuff... save the line of white for after the shoot..!
Move the show to Texas. There people have the money to buy stuff.
Thax wish I was there
too bad he went by everything so fast you don't even get to see anything
+Randlee Dowse Next time, I will be sure to have you watching any machines I bring so I can slow down and take a better video. I didn't go here, just to take a video. I went to try and sell a motorcycle. Motorcycles need to be watched.
Goto the show.
Nice bikes!...... but got seasick ;-)
Damn it now I'm freakin dizzy.
it would be the return of the style "chopper" and "school" David Mann?
David simply recorded the styles of bikes in painting for Easyrider magazine centerfolds at the time of the issue. This event is 12 years old. This "style" has been here all along
7:41 ten years late...
I'd hate to crash on the one at 6:35!!! OUCH
Best in Show 4:57 & 2:02
lill o'l red c50 crashing the big boys party @ 8:05 :)
where are the nekkid bodies ,lol
no way would i ever own a bike with the exhaust in my face.

you ever need bikes picked up on the east coast and brought anywhere you let me know , almost all i care about is bike cars jeeps and trucks but bikes come first ! check out my FRANKRUBICON videos from a few years back , dyna fxdp videos coming soon! my friend gave me a go pro
Some very cool bikes. The new over the top baggers are awful why are they there in the show no one cares
Little wing
I dont do willys, just dont wanna.
BACK AND FORTH WITH THE CAMERA??? Dude if your gonna make a Vid learn how first please. Your making people dizzy as hell.
+The Whole Truth I will make sure I don't bother next time. Hows that?
You’ll look back on this video you took and see you waisted everyone’s time.
?
Next time you shoot a video be sober
+angelktv987 drawls That would require me to actually drink, or do drugs. I do neither. I was however going on about 2 hours or less sleep
Biggest FAIL ever....Biker fight and you don't record it You just lost RUclips GOLD.
+Ric Aldrich I was more concerned with paying attention they did not bring it over to my space and fuck up my machine I had there then trying to get a video
you re focusing everything , and nothing
+RaoulDuke48 I had no one to reliably watch my spot, so I did not want to leave it alone too long. Better a quickie then nothing
Just to go to one of these happenings would be a treat even if I had to sit there with your stuff....
if I had someone watching the bike for me, I would of taken longer to do the video. But I did not
That's what she said. A quickie is better than nothing. Lol 😂
Typical Todd mutterings and lightning fast camera work. And he wants his own show?
this is FREE. Profession camera crew and editing means it costs money. Someone has to pay for it. You volunteering?
Dude sucks with the camera, need to slow down and let us look for a minute at the bikes.
Passmy grilwon
that chop with the airplane engine is badass
