I do like the shorter haired dolls, the long hair is great but it can really get in the way and also be quite heavy on them.

Thank you. Her face was such a change from the usual, love the gloss of the lips and the sourpuss expression. Also with her being matt faced she's a lot easier to photograph and the camera seems to love her!

Her hair is lovely and such a great combination of colours, I love the fact that it feels quite random rather than being a precise placing of the different colours. I love the blouse too, it's so well made too. Thank you, I was so happy with the photos too.

She is beautiful! I had a matte face Blythe but at the beginning of my doll collecting I kinda regretted having her for the curly hair, I decided I wanted only straight hair dolls, so I gave her to my 17 yo great-niece, she was probably around 13 by then. Since I gave to her, I won't ask for the doll back, but I kinda miss her. Well, she is still in the family, so I will see her one day. They live very far so I can't be there often. Blythes with matte face and bangs are much cuter to me. Yours is adorable with that mix of pink and brown hair!
Thank you, she is my only matt faced Blythe. She is so much easier to photograph compared to the shiny faces ones, also she has such a lovely face, the make up is very cute on her. I hope you get to see your old Blythe again someday.

Aaah, I love her hair! 😍I have two factory Blythes with the same faceup--it's one of my faves. I have to agree with you about the body. Mine have trouble staying upright in their doll stands.
Ideally I would swap her body out but not sure what to swap it out to at the moment. Plus if I swap bodies I would want her to have a neck joint too as she has that downward cast which is always a bit annoying and makes them hard to photograph.

Thank you 🥰 Articulation wise the bodies are great and when I started getting the AliExpress Blythes I didn't have a problem with the bodies at all. Over time I think I've just noticed they can be a bit clunky, but I've yet to take the plunge and swap any of the bodies out just yet.
I think she is very cute. I especially like her hair and that expression. I think the curls look great on her. :) I love using AliE dolls for customs, but I do have a few that I can't bring myself to change. 😀
I was surprised by how much I loved her face and the details of it. The AliExpress Bythes are great for customisers for sure, this one is great just the way she is though, and I do have a few more who I probably wouldn't touch either.

It really does, and if it wasn't for them I would never have ended up getting a Takara Blythe.
She is so cute. LOVE her hair and her pouty lips. That shiny coral color on them is so pretty. I do believe you can ask to change out the bodies to traditional or stock body type, on some Ali Express shops. I did that on one of my Ali Express dolls. New subscriber here!
Yes, considering I got her for the hair I was thrilled with how nice her face was. The gloss look of the lips is a lovely detail. I have a few bodies that I might change her out to but at the moment she is okay on this one, her face is so pale I'm not sure I would anything that would match her tbh! Thanks for subscribing 🥰
