    Hi Jim, Thanks for sharing the informative videos. Is there any way to get our case out of NBC: I had applied N400 in May 2020, received Biometric waiver in Jan 2021, and its still sitting at NBC.

    Hi officer, I submitted my petition I-140(EB2-NIW) with a postal money order $700 and all necessary documents. Unfortunately, I filled out the I-140 form with some missing information of my mailing address and street number. Due to these missing from my I-140 petition was rejected by Lockbox and sent back to me via US postal service. But due to missing my mailing information address I didn't receive my package and it turned back to Lockbox. Now after contacting Lockbox they told me that the payment included with my package deposited into the Persons of Unknown Whereabouts (PUW) account on September 13, 2023 and my original documents were sent to the National Benefits Center for filing.
    Lockbox also wrote to me that: To request a refund of your payment, you will need to send a letter to the National Benefits Center, with evidence that your checks were cashed, such as copies of the front and back of the cashed money orders. In your letter, you should reference the receipt numbers for your applications, as listed above, and the deposit ticket number XXXXX.
    My concern is whether my petition is now rejected or it is under process on initial stages with the National Benefits Center? What I need to do right now. Please guide and help me.

    They are just lazy people. all they need to do is to stamp and make cards. At that speed, they can process hundreds of cards a day. if people can apply for GC, They DEFINITELY qualified!

    I imagine my paperwork being drop off by the mail person and putting it in the uscis lockbox, then someone from uscis comes everyday in the morning and get the mail and give it to the officer assigned to that lockbox, the officer open the case and scan everything to uscis systems and then throw away all the documents, send a letter to me saying they received my documents and all the copies have been taken and they let me know by mail when something is done in my case,... months passed and i dont hear back and i wonder, do they remember my case is pending? Do they have remainders like alarms to remember them about the pending cases? How do they go back to them?

    Edit: I just realized that MSC in the receipt number means Missouri Service Center. Omg I can’t believe this. Waiting 18 months just to let then know to send the case to NVC. FFFFFFF

    Hello,
    I have a question. My wife lives in Pennsylvania with an H1B. Her green card application (EB3, skilled worker) is largely approved (PERM+I140+I765+I131 are approved), only the I485 is still pending. According to the case number (starts with MSC) the petition has been filed with the National Benefits Center. However, as of February 2021, the status says "Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction". What exactly does this mean ? Is the case now at the service center in Texas that has jurisdiction ? Or maybe at the Field office in Philadelphia ?

      My advice: DO NOT bring her file to TEXAS. It will get stuck forever. In Pennsylvania is quicker. I regret as you have no idea to have move the file to Texas. I did it in good faith, but it’s the most messed up place to have your papers. What a nightmare.

    • @marcojahn2564
      @marcojahn2564 2 года назад

      My wife searched her records for the "Notice of action" letter. The case was indeed sent back to Texas by the National Benefits Center (Texas is where the petition was filed). Why it wasn't sent directly to Pennsylvania, I'm afraid I don't know. Especially since processing times are actually faster in Pennsylvania (according to the USCIS processing times home page). Currently (Jan 31, 2021), Texas has a case inquiry date of July 09, 2021, and the petition was filed in early October 2020. I think it will probably actually take another 3 months for the petition to be processed. The I140 was also processed exactly when the case inquiry date and filing date matched.
