I have always been Christian always had that at my core but what changed for me was almost dying I was in the ICU for a month with leukemia 25weeks pregnant on life support came out of the hospital two months later and had 10 doctors tell me how much of a miracle I was and my son was and how what happened to me changed their faith and outlook on their “religion” or lack of a religion anyway coming out of that really caused me to dive into my faith. My son is now four and I have been cancer free for 3.5 years and every time I look at my son it assures to me my faith in God and his miracle he preformed on me and my son.
Sister Hannah glad that you still here I'm also a Christian had a stroke but wasn't following the holy spirit now I'm so on fire for our creator yes I have backslided from time to time but I want to grow closer to him amen ✝️✝️👍
I personally am not Christian, and have grown up in an atheist family. I’m in a place where I think there is something going on but not entirely sure what it is and what I believe. But I love watching these faith videos and instagrams from you to learn about what you believe and your views on things. I find it so interesting to find a real life viewpoint from someone rather than relying on the bias and minimal teachings about religion I had in school or the conflicting information online. I’m happy that you’re feeling a lot more content in your life since you have come back to your faith, you can see the positive impact it has had on you from watching your videos.
I would bet that you have been told a lot about what is in the Bible but haven't read much for yourself, because it's a big book and the language is hard to understand. This was the case for me, so no judgment at all. If you're in a place "where something is going on" and you want to explore that a little, there's an app called "through the word." It's the audio Bible with pastors explaining the chapters one at a time as you go. I have learned so much this way. If you feel lost, there are answers in the word. I hope you find what you're looking for. All the best 😁
You should look up testimonies....like "from New age to Jesus" or Jesus testimony. Even delafe films. Real people just telling their stories.... you'll start recognizing patterns from all these random people of how God moves in their lives. God is real, and He loves you truly.
Wow! Thanks so much for sharing. I had dreams like that (but it would attack me) for years before I became a Christian. When I said, “Jesus,” for the first time during a dream, it immediately screeched and retracted away from me. It never touched me again! There is power in the name of Jesus!

I love this video! Like others have said, regardless if the person watching is catholic, you spoke with such honesty & conviction that it’s hard not to listen. You speak with empathy, understanding, & no judgement. Which is rare these days! Sometimes it feels like people can’t share their truth without being hateful toward the “opposing” group.

As someone mentioned before me, my scientific education and the realist I am don’t let me believe in the existence of God per se. To me the Universe was created by the Big Bang and after that everything was evolution. However, I am happy that you are able to find purpose, peace and happiness through your faith, it’s what is most important ❤️
Btw a Jesuit (read: Catholic) priest came up with the Big Bang *theory*.
Catholics believe in both evolution *and* the creation story together.

I agree that much of devils work doesn't really look evil. Especially in todays age they try very hard to promote it, make it look super fun and cool and make people feel strange or uncool if they don't participate in those things. I personally believe that a lot of it is hidden in the entertainment industry (music,movies,events,...) and also in "cultural traditions" which weren't really derived from religion. I'm not Christian btw (I'm Muslim) but I just like all things related to God as I'm really sick of this world where one is seen as uncool or backward or stupid for pleasing their Lord. Let's not allow this modern, fast-paced and shallow world make us forget about the real purpose. 🌸
Yes. So, so true! satan is the father of lies and cunning and deceptive. Hes been observing the human race for a long time now, and especially Christians. he certainly knows what tactics entice Christians. All he has to do is get Christians believing a false doctrine. The false doctrines tend to appear happy, positive, and give you a powerful "spiritual" experience. A spiritual high even. What an easy way for him to draw believers away from the one true Christ, by leading them to believe that they are *the most* spiritually connected of all.

So proud of you for sharing! I’m Christian and even though Catholics and Christians are pretty similar I always wonder, when you were talking about worshiping other things other than God. The commandments say not to have idols, but Catholics pray to saints which goes against the word. What are your opinions on that?
I agree, I’m a Pentecostal Christian.. and the Bible does say does say not to worship idols, in Exodus 20:4-5 also on Isaiah 45:20
All those statues of Jesus and Marry and other saints they are all Idols. And Kayla mentioned about ppl burning candles for on rituals. Catholic also burn candles. Isn’t that the same thing..
I was born and raised Catholic I’m not judging at all. But the Bible is clear on that. The statues on Catholic Church are made of wood, clay, and other stuff. If you keep reading on Exodus 20 verse 23 it also says do not make gods to be along side me, do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold..Like many tend to use gold crosses or even the image of Jesus. Those are all idols.
My grandmother was a true on Catholic and for this same question that your asking is why i always never felt connected to the Catholic church when she took us with her. My heart always felt happy going to a Christian church. Just a few years ago she had a change of heart and switched to becoming a Christian. She did a house cleansing meaning she got rid of all saints and statues she had and she explained the experience as a weight coming off her shoulders, like purified. I don't judge the religion but that has always been a big no to me.
The Catholic Church does not worship anyone but God in the form of the Holy Trinity. Keep in mind Ariamis, most of what you understand about Christ is because of the Catholic faith. Prior to the protestant reformation nobody had a problem with these teachings. We honor the saints and Christ's mother, but worship is reserved only for God. Whatever you think is going on in Catholicism is not what we Catholics are doing. I invite you to do more research into what Catholics actually believe.

We aren't worshipping statues. As Catholics we only worship God. Jesus did not establish the pentacostal church. Jesus already made a Church. There wasn't any need to create the pentacostal Church.

If we are all friends here on your channel, I’m the scientist who cannot see good evidence for God, especially the God of the Bible. “I want to believe as many true things, and as few false things, as possible” sums up my beliefs. Just posting to have it show how diverse your audience is and how my respect for you is in no way diminished by our opposing views.
And yet she’s liked every comment except the ones that aren’t blindly praising her faith.
Do you not believe the God of the Bible because of people who should represent the bible or because of the Bible itself?
@@cmilly2009 The Bible itself, which I have read cover to cover (yes all the genealogies) several times. I find issue with the inconsistencies, the lack of congruence with reality (eg the Noachian deluge), and the canonization of certain books/passages over others.
Mostly though I find the genocides, slavery, and treatment of women as property (among other things) that this god condones and even directs inexcusable.
If this god “knit me together in my mother’s womb” then he is to carry some blame for knitting my scientific and moral mind that cannot believe in him. If this god is so keen on a relationship with me why create a cosmos that looks so godless, as if he is a deceptive god.
I could go on.
God has a purpose for you Kayla! I think sometimes it’s hard to see through everything that surrounds us. He also gave you a wonderful family that helped shape you into who you are. You’ve inspired me to step out of my comfort zone in a lot of things. You’re definitely choosing the road less traveled by, and that’s not a bad thing either ❤️.
Kayla, this was a lovely testimony. And as a Christian, I share your realisation about new age spirituality. Luckily, I was only on the edge but I have friends that are deep into this and literally worship the moon! Self help and law of attraction lead to manifesting and are the seemingly innocent 'gateway' to really demonic practices. And they teach people to be 'Selfish' as opposed to 'Selfless'. They teach people to put themselves 1st as opposed to putting GOD and his commandments first. They compete with God and try to be superior to God by calling the selves GOD and telling themselves that they are the Creator as opposed to God being the Creator. It is very narcissistic and demonic. The Bible says that Satan will come as the Angel of light and that is what new age spirituality does.
I think that what Jesus *actually* wants from his followers is for them to have empathy - empathy for the poor, empathy for the sick, empathy for the immigrants/those seeking asylum, empathy for those killed by senseless gun violence (especially children), empathy for the gay and transsexual people who do no harm to anyone but are persecuted regardless, empathy for the people who continue being targeted because of the color of their skin, empathy for the child rape victim who has no desire or ability to raise a child of their own, empathy for the woman who cannot continue a pregnancy because her mental and/or physical health would suffer for it, etc.
Jesus' message was/is one of love, compassion, and - most importantly - empathy. I think He is extremely disappointed to see his word being transformed into something it was never meant to be.
Contrary to popular belief, Ronald Reagan is not Jesus. Neither is the Pope.

@@carow1190 yes I do find it very amusing that most people who call themselves Christians are the ones that worship the almighty dollar and capitalism. Capitalism is the opposite of what it means to be Christian.

@@carow1190 No, Caro people who choose to break our laws should not be getting payments for being seperated from their children. What would be more reasonable is to expect them to re emburse me, the taxpayer for them breaking our laws and having to sort them out when they do so. I think that's alot more down to earth Caro. They are not victims who were forced into coming to America. I think that's a more rational understanding of the situation, right? right.
I love that you were vulnerable enough to share this!! The college years ahhh. This is why we do college campus ministry! So many students lose their faith in college, nearly 80%, and one of our rules is to just get them 1 step closer to Christ. If this video does that for anyone, then girl it was so with it!! There are a lot of practices that have been cherry picked by groups or “new age” practitioners. Some of these practices are older than Christianity. I am a lapsed Catholic and last year I tried to reconnect to my faith, but it didn’t feel right in my bones. I am a yoga instructor and a lot of the “new age” practices resonate with me more so than Christianity. There is a shadow side to everything, even in Christianity. I don’t think anyone is wrong. There are so many religions and practices and the key is to respect them all with out judgement. The things that I practice are all out of love, light and good intention. I respect your journey and where you are. If that works for you, that’s great!
Kayla I hear you 1000%. I am a devout catholic.. I’d like to think anyway :). Our parish priest was an assistant to the exorcist and he would tell us the dangers of delving into the new age stuff. Like first hand experiences of people who were oppressed with the evil spirits they picked up from the new age practices and witch craft stuff. It is no lie!! Evil is just as real as good. And I always was sure to steer clear away from any of those things. it does sound crazy until you actually know people that have repercussions from it like I have! It sounds like you experienced a taste of it and I’m so glad you were able to realize what was going on. Thanks for sharing all of this. It’s definitely not talked about enough. Also I will add that many of these people that were experiencing evil things such as hearing people in their homes etc were not catholic, but guess who they all would call when they had issues? A Catholic Priest ;) He said a lot of their issues started with simple tarot cards, witch craft books, ouija boards.
I was born into Catholicism as well, although my parents never taught us anything about our religion. What really doesn’t sit well with me is how no one acknowledges all the dark history of popes and priests which is actually still happening, and people still follow what they are told by men that commit sins and get a slap in the wrist and they get to move on with their lives and for that reason I just can’t agree with the Catholic Church.

Our beliefs and following the Catholic religion are not based on the people who are imperfect people in need of God's forgiveness and mercy. The "dark past " and even dark present being acknowledged doesn't have anything to do with your decision to not be a Catholic. Let's be honest, it requires submission to authority, something you would refuse to do, since you yourself wish to be that authority.
I’m baptist and have always valued your opinion on any topic because you have a way of being truly honest and realistic. You allow your viewers to relate to you and the topic because you’re honest with your opinions and views about products, beliefs etc. KUUDOS to you Kayla, for being honest here and also being realistic that these were situations you were part of as well in the past. Due to my faith I’m not involved in most of the things you mentioned, but didn’t realize the meaning of “manifesting” or “positive vibes” or relying on anything other than God for the outcome of a situation. This definitely made me think. Super encouraging to see how God is working through you and your platform. ❤️
Kayla, God is using you BIG here putting this online for so many people to hear. The Holy Spirit will speak to those who will listen. I really liked how you said that lots of the new age stuff doesn’t look bad and that the devil paints it as this “beautiful” thing! That is great discernment from the Lord and only comes form reading his word and listening to what he has to say about it. I also bought some of the devotional books you use when she had her $5 book sale and they’re awesome! I’m really starting to dive into building my relationship with the Lord and so many things I’ve felt convicted of when it comes to this world we live in. Thank you for sharing, Kayla! I was raised in an atheist family but have always considered myself agnostic and always believed there was a God and sent up prayers. I consider myself a spiritual person but never had an actual religion to follow. Your story resonated with mine because as a teenager I got very into the paranormal, loved reading ghost stories and all that. I have always been interested in tarot cards, crystals and things like that but always a bit scared of it too because of the lower level entities I learned about by reading and learning about the paranormal. So I never actually delved into any of that because it scared me too. However I have a couple of relatives that are into the occult, crystals, throwing things into the universe and I was thinking about them during your video. When a relative once told me how I could 'ask the universe what you want" that has always freaked me out so badly, I much prefer to send out a prayer or a simple "i wish..". To fast forward to now, I am 32 and have an almost 2y old daughter my husband and I are looking to baptise Catholic (my husband was raised Catholic). I have been feeling similar to Joe, interested in learning about the religion myself and perhaps doing the 2y course to become Catholic. Thank you for sharing, this video came at a good time for me and helped me understand God vs the occult much more, I never really understood the connection as to why it was forbidden before.

You are not alone! I was raised Pentecostal and guarding your spirit and home was something my mama drilled into me as a teen. I now find myself not allowing my children to watch and listen to a lot of things that their peers do because of the icky feeling I get about the spiritual discussions in even certain cartoons and movies.

This was so beautiful! My husband and I got baptized together in June 2022. Making our faith a priority has significantly improved our lives and our children’s lives. Feeling Jesus’ presence in my day to day life is such a beautiful feeling. I truly know now what “feeling blessed” feels like and I can’t get enough!

I love videos like this and am so proud of you for sharing! I obviously have studied a ton of new age stuff, but also wholeheartedly agree there is seriously DANGEROUS stuff in there and understanding the roots/what to look for and how things are practiced are critical and not talked about - like ever - and was a huge reason I took a major step back from everything back in 2019.
What you said "there was no mention of G-d" In the moon ceremony you had, is such valuable insight and a distinction not talked about enough. I don't think we can throw out all tools that have been infused into the new age world, because they were once given to us by God, just like I don't think we can throw out the bible because some people have misinterpreted it. I think knowing the history of where things and interpretations came/come from - because the occult inverted many things directly from the Bible - is crucial.
It's easy - and a really smart entry point because i do think so much of it is dark af - to just stay away from the "New Age" stuff, like saying "stay away from crystals" - but I think at a point we need to acknowledge God put something like crystals on earth for us too. Additionally, many tools in the New Age world (tibetan singing bowls for instance, rooted in Buddhism which was before Christ's time) have also been co-opted from other cultures who have a deep Godly presence/practice that may differ from Catholicism and dates further back.
Rather than casting out everything, I think it's just really important for people to have God in their life, call on that protection and guidance to discern. Whether walking into a church or a moon circle. I think videos like this are SO important in bringing people closer to that truth.

I’ve been a follower of yours for many many years now and I can relate to this now that I am now at that age where I crave that connection with god I just don’t know where to start. I have a daughter who is three and a husband who is very much how joe used to be. He has no religion background nor does he want one. It’s so hard, but I feel the lord calling me. I feel myself wanting to learn and dive deep into my faith but I feel I lack that support. I need that push. Thanks for the wonderful message:
Hi can you tell me is it true deliverance is a process ? I been trying to be free from new age for Two years know by mistakingly opening up chakras. I’m not totally set free. I’ve given my life to Jesus and have repented of everything I can think of.

I'm very curious...can you tell us what made you choose catholicism ultimately? It all boils down to a relationship with Jesus regardless of denomination... I have my own disagreements with catholicism... But I'm honestly curious when coming back to your faith what brought you back specifically to the Catholic church? Thank God a.....a Catholic. Most these testimonies hate the Universal Church. I went form New Age to Christianity to Catholicism. It's misunderstood and Mary helped me immensely to know her son better.
First of all thank you for making this video and sharing your thoughts. I honestly had no idea these beliefs and practises can be actually harmful, it really never ever crossed my mind. All we need to do is pray, and what it’s meant for us will find it’s way. I think nowadays so many people are lost and we live in such a horrible times, life is easier in so many ways comparing to what it was a hundred or more years but I also think people used to be happier because they knew God and knew what to cherish the most. So thank you again for opening my eyes.
I prayed a while ago now that God would truly open your eyes to the truth and wow did He! I’ve been watching since before my daughter was born and she’s almost 2 1/2 now. I am so proud of you for sharing your testimony as I know how hard that can be. God radically saved me and I was into new age stuff too. I may not agree with or believe everything the Catholic church does but you can truly tell you have been changed because you can’t help but share Jesus is all your videos for some time now and can see a difference in you! Kayla, thank you for being obedient to God, and sharing your testimony. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was 14, and it was the best decision of my life! The Lord has been so good to me , and has blessed me and my family. In the good times, and in the bad, my faith has kept me strong.

Have been through similar - once a doctor suggested I should talk to someone about my headaches ( saying it’s psychological ) and before I knew it, that person were saying some kind of dark spell in my face 🤯🤬 thanks God I had someone close to me at that time who was all about faith and did explain me previously ( just like you did ) that the only place where we pray for help is church and God. The rest is dangerous and destructive . I got really scared then.

I’ve been a Christian my whole life. I had an experience where my faith went from my head to my heart and I finally “got it”. The past few years have been challenging to say the least but one thing is certain, with God on our side there is nothing we can’t face! Thanks for sharing your faith boldly Kayla!

Thank you for sharing your powerful testimony. It has helped me immensely. I think it’s especially ironic looking over at my profile pic from 8 years ago when I was going through the confirmation process in the Catholic Church and feeling my current unrest after not continuing on that same path. I have friends who are Christian and mix new age with their faith. It’s become so mainstream and trendy. The devil always uses attractive and seemingly harmless things to destroy people. I had to comment because of the dream you had. I have always been attracted to the occult, but dont really practice anything now, maybe just some meditation, yoga etc, when it comes to the occult its just more of an interest I have. Find it interesting with symbology and the history behind them. However in my 20s I was listening a lot to this spiritual practitioner and one night after one of the sessions I went to bed and had this nightmare. A dark tall being stood over my bed and was pressing down with its hands on me. When I woke up I was so scared and turned on the lights, then one of the lightbulbs flew out of the lamp, it had broken off leaving only the socket in. I have often wondered if there was a connection or just a bad dream, but the lightbulb really got to me.
I dont really practice anything now and dont chase a higher consiousness anymore, as I have realized that for me, I have to experience things in order to gain insight, a self help book or "guru" can show me the way, but I still have to get my hands dirty and go through life. Only that way I can build empathy, understanding and be humble to what life wants for me. Anyway, it was really interesting to hear of your experience, I really enjoy watching your videos.

same like as muslim too we turn to God and Quran to find answer not to look what other peoples doing like manifestion and crystal and so on, and it’s forbidden to us too.

In his five-part series by Exorcist Fr.Vincent Lampert gives solid information about how the demonic is involved with the occult, new age and drugs use.
He gives good basic biblical instruction on how to get rid of demonic activity and how to get close to Jesus.

I don't follow any Catholics, but the reformed community has many resources about the new age. I recommend checking out the testimonies of Steven Bancarz, Doreen Virtue, Marsha Montenegro, and Melissa Dougherty. Cultish is one of my favorite podcasts, but a lot of reformed platforms have former new agers as guests.

Came across your video a few days ago and to be honest I avoided it because I knew I'd be convicted or touched in some way, God lead me here again because I needed to hear this. I respect your faith, and I think you’re a lovely person and mom. However, the standard practice of the church to call any Spiritual practice outside of christianity “devil worship”, is so unfair. That’s such a blanket statement to cast on people who believe in a higher power but maybe don’t take the Bible as the ultimate authority of what God really wants and doesn’t want from us. There are over 7 billion people on the planet and yes many come to the Creator in different ways and every major religion says their way is the only way. I grew up raised as Christian and totally understand where you come from, and despite my pushing back on what you said, please remember I say this with respect and love. I just believe god didn’t expect billions of people from different cultures and walks of life to somehow all realize the existence of a higher power through the Bible alone. That makes no sense to alot of people, even alot of religious people. So I think being open minded and just getting curious is helpful for everyone on all sides of the conversation. That’s just my two cents, but I love you as a fellow soul and all the good you do and your authenticity. Keeping shining your light of love and kindness❤️
Beautifully said! As a practicing witch, I can tell you my life is just as happy and fulfilled as someone of a Christian faith. Our practices and the practices of various cultures (some of which the “new age” wave have stolen from) are NOT evil. They’re just different. I love and respect my Christian friends who hold true to their faith but don’t project their views and perspectives onto others. You talk about astrology and tarot cards being scary and destructive but forget the proven history of Christians who have violently weaponized their faith by torturing and murdering innocent people in the name of the Lord. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of tarot cards or astrology ever actually killing anybody. Just sayin
@@snowthewitch And from what I know (correct me if I’m wrong) women who call themselves witches have no association with “the devil”, I’ve heard it described as more of a love and connection with nature and the divine feminine within us and having traditions and practices that celebrate that. People just get too much of their judgments and fears from tv and movies and just make stuff up that gets passed down through generations. Crystals, cards, whatever, are just tools for a ritual or practice. No one would dare call prayer beads for example used by catholics as “evil”….no.. it’s a tool they use to help them in prayer, they aren’t worshipping the beads themselves yanno? It’s just interesting to see how people view things.

If your Creator revokes your soul simply for experimenting or finding fulfillment with other forms of spirituality, than I’ll happily take the “eternal death”. At least I’m free to choose what I find faith in and not limited by fear

As someone who was also raised in the catholic church and went to catholic school I just want to point something out. When you said that these "new age" practices are bad and nothing good comes from it...I don't think that that is a fair thing to say. You know like 90% of catholicism comes from paganism? If you compare the 2 there are many many similarities. Praying to God and asking him to watch over your family and friends and bless your life is the same as "willing" those same things to happen and talking to the universe. Having the priest say something and the whole church responds after him in unison, singing together, are not much different from chanting. the use of incense happens in both. Lighting a candle in prayer in honor of someone in the church is no different than lighting a candle at home for peace happiness or whatever else. Offerings happen in both. Oils happen in both. I could go on but I'll stop here. You can believe in God and not do these things or you can believe in god and do these things as well. Everything is not always so black and white, good or bad. Something is only bad if you have bad intentions. I know this is your faith and your belief and your experience, but I think you're giving off the wrong impression of new age beliefs. I have so much respect for you and love your channel ❤️ it's not my intention to upset anyone with my comment. These are just my thoughts on the whole thing.
Agree with you i am Catholic i never go to church but i do pray every single night before going to bed. I believe in God weather or not i go to church.
I agree that nothing good comes from it. People can compare the Catholic faith to paganism and there are some similarities and history that ties into some of the practices that cannot be denied. But the biggest thing is Who we are doing it for. One is focused on giving glory to God and centering our lives and those of others toward the good, and one is not. Sure, the idea of lighting a candle in church may not have come directly from Jesus himself, but the reasons Catholics do these things is totally and completely different. But I do recognize it’s hard to see the difference from the outside!
In fairness, true Christians (incl. us Catholics) know that WE aren't in control: Everything's up to God and his will. We don't perform our rituals to will anything to happen as it's not up to us. (To say that Christians "will" outcomes is also disrespectful, though you make it clear that you weren't intending on upsetting anyone, so I'm just letting you know for future reference.)
We pray, light candles, attend Mass, etc. because we know that God's in control and we're just talking with him and letting him know that we accept his will either way. (No, really, this is honestly the way. We believe that prayers only HELP, but God's in charge of the outcome.)
The reason why we're against "New Age" stuff is because they shift our focus of worship from God to us--even though, like I said, WE aren't in control. So things like yoga (which I know is very old but has other deities in mind), reiki, crystals, "the Law of Attraction," transcendental mediation, etc.: they're like amulets and us Christians don't subscribe to superstition b/c we know that everything's up to God and activities that include mediation and stretching must be prayerfully focused on God.

Read the catechism and that’s where you will find it somtimes faith isn’t what we want to hear but it’s what we need to save our soul, takes time to accept. Confession is amazing with good priests that are good and that give the good advice even when it’s hard to hear I been there but change my life forever .

Have you had a lot of interaction with people who share these "new age" ideas since you veered from it? It comes across like you are addressing that this is a current issue for you. I was born into a church but don't share your faith. I still love your videos and feel that its ok to disagree on things. I'm interested to see how your faith fits into your life and vice versa but I kinda felt like this was an attack on people who believe something different to you, which in all honesty I think this is where people who dont have faith would have difficulty interacting with those who do. Each to their own, you have your faith, you're going to heaven, all is good for you 👍. I know you dont care about losing a subscriber but i feel that having a judgemental attitude is going to push people away from your channel.
Sorry to burst your bubble but evil exists and people who believe in God turn to him for guidance and protection. I don’t share the same faith as her but I believe in a higher God, the One True God, the Creator. If you come to know that pure evil exists then you’ll see the opposite also exists, God. I have watched people who worked in Hollywood or in the entertainment industry seeing with their own eyes the practice of the occult and many evils. These people have turned back to God and left that life. They didn’t believe in God, but after seeing the ‘devil’ they have no choice. God is not unjust, you can seek His guidance to truth even if you don’t belong to a religion/path to Him. Sincerely ask for help, guidance or discernment in this messed up world we live in, and see what happens.
I don't think that was too judgmental...she's really just sharing what she experienced. You should check out some new age to Jesus testimonies. I'm sure you'd rather not but it's very interesting to see that though they are all strangers they have very similar experiences and have all come to the same conclusions about new age practices

I actually went through similar I used to do crystals, card readings and horoscopes and realized it was not good and wished I never did it I even got my horoscope tattooed wish I never did that either, I want to get it removed

Kayla, I believe your testimony will come in time for someone out there. God bless you for it. Some time before I came to the U.S. I came across a book called "this present darkness" by Frank Peretti, which is fictional but profoundly realistic in showing the ways that we as Christians are surrounded by spiritual warfare all the time while we go unaware for the most part. It really opened my eyes, and I thank God for it, because really early on my years of college I saw how many of those seemingly innocent practices are embedded in so many things we encounter daily (like the time our Psychology professor wanted us to have a 20 minutes meditation and "opening up to the powers of the universe" session, which I opted out of). I truly don't mean to offend anybody by saying it, but sometimes when spiritual forces do come in a full force attack after someone, that person usually feels like its out of the blue, when in reality, those entities have been slowly getting the door open for them to come and claim a place/person/family as their rightful property.

Going back to the part about certain TV shows, how do you feel about Halloween? My oldest is almost 4 and I'm not really interested in participating even though I did as a kid and he has until now. I don't want to introduce scary movies, haunted houses, or to even see creepy costumes trick or treating lol. It may seem strict but my gut is just telling me it's not a good thing anymore.
It’s not a good holiday or even part of Christianity. It makes kids comfortable and interested in dark things. I would even stay clear of books and movies promoting magic, like Harry Potter, one of the most corrupting books for kids. Kids will see magic as a way to achieve protection or gain material things. It’s all fun and games now until they grow up being interested in the occult.

I have a beautiful relationship with God.. a strong relationship. But to say crystals and manifesting and living that spiritual life is a bad thing, is just not rite. it's the reality of how this universe works. in fact most spiritual people are happier than the "religous" people.. what does that tell you? we all have the spirit of God in us and God is the source of our power. God gives us the power to do anything we want. the "devil" is who keeps us from it. I do tarot I do moon magic.. I work with the universe but I also listen to sermons from my pastor multiple times a week and every sunday , BUT i am surely blessed because I witness God's hand over my life every single day and I praise Him in the sun and in the storm.. as my faith is more than strong. BUT everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but to say it's wrong or bad is just un called for. obviously the ones who practice any dark spiritual practices will have it come back to them but not all practices in spirituality are bad.. in fact most are beautiful and life changing. I'm not trying to be mean and I still enjoy your channel but I felt I had to say something

Yup yup yup. Crystals are pieces from the earth that God literally created for us. The moon was created by God on the fourth day of creation according to the bible. Why WOULDN'T you want to use these things to connect with God. Anyone who truly knows the definition and practice of manifesting knows that manifesting and praying are the SAME things. This is part of the problem of why there is so much disconnect- by saying these things are evil, when they are in fact more in alignment with your own practices than you realize, you are causing people to not want anything to do with the religion. Maybe someone feels more connected through God through his creation of the earth, hence why they use crystals. Maybe they feel connected to God when they pray to the moon. I also mean my comments respectfully, but as someone who went away from being religious for this exact reason, I felt called to share. Glad you said something.

I was going to say about the manifesting and praying being the same thing.. in this world we live in , everything is described by a word.. so a meaning could have different "labels or words" put to them but have the same meaning. I do love my Bible and I think there are so many beautiful stories and they basically are all to teach you to have faith. isn't this the same principle used in manifesting? I also believe bibles are up for interpretation.. who's to say who's interpretation is right or wrong but if you truly understand spirituality and the bible you will see a huge connection between the both. Did not Jesus say alot " I AM" . well what do our biggest affirmations usually begin with... I AM. Jesus and God lives in us.. im not sure how some don't see the correlation here.. but I don't judge religious people and their beliefs and they shouldn't also throw judgment towards us.. after all that is God's word.. only he is to judge. I've heard so many people from in the church put people down all the time and use God a reason to believe they are better than anyone else... versus so many awakened spiritual people.. what is one of our favorite sayings.. ? "sending love and light". God represents peace, love and joy. He loves everyone NO matter what, unconditionally.. wether or not we go to church on sunday .. meditate under the moon.. all He ask is that we place our faith in Him and love him back. sorry for this rant .. I'm passionate in this area of life !
@@familyof4lokos 100% ! I never resonated with following the word of the bible because I know the original one and this new one must be so different. It's like a game of telephone and as so many centuries go, I just personally don't expect the scripture to be the same from its original day. God and I are still besties and I also still have respect for Christians and Catholics or other religions. I also just felt called to respectfully share my thoughts on shaming the new age and all that jazz. Regardless, I'm glad we are all practicing better humans for God in whatever way that might be (but always with good intentions) 😊

Thank you for posting this and sharing your testimony. It is a vulnerable topic that not many people talk about or know about.
I love where your channel has been going lately and so glad you’re bringing awareness to these things on your platform! It really is crazy what all you see once your eyes are opened to it. I have a friend from Africa that had to flee because he became a Christian and his stories are WILD. There’s so much more “witchcraft” type stuff there and it’s scary hearing how intense it can get. Also when I was in my early 20s my roommates harmlessly (or so we thought) played with a Ouija board one night and it told them all about their dad who had passed away. For months after that, one of them was absolutely terrorized by something and you could feel it in our house. She would wake up screaming and see shadow people and ended up sleeping in my bed almost every night. It’s crazy how harmless we tend to think these things are and they are NOT! On a positive note, it all 100% made me realize how real God is too.

With all due respect, what did you learn in Catholic school? Some of the things you mentioned were drilled into me from also going to Catholic school. I am genuinely curious and mean no disrespect. Especially when you previously mentioned that you didn't know you couldn't receive communion if you married outside the Church. So glad you are finding your way back to Our Lord. You can recieve communion if you were married outside of the Church, so long as you are not committing sins and are living as brother and sister prior to having that marriage validated. Most people can't do that however, so it's best to get the marriage validated as soon as possible.
