Sugar schools are used by Mexicans in Mexico for the Day of the dead. This is a holiday celebrated by people in Mexico mostly to have contact with dead people. Also this is based off the movie coco and everything i saw is true. look it up

i honestly adore this episode it makes me happy that your giving out more mexican culture, im not mexican myself but day of the dead is a wonderful and wholesome holiday that celebrates family and rememberance of long gone family members, but it also gives me a bit of sadness, last year ive also lost a kitty he was one of the best kittys ever and im really going to miss him he was my best friend so this episode made me cry so much with the last part with noi

I had tears in my eyes when Noi said 'I lost my kitty' or something. I know how it feels!
I know I lost my cat at 1 year old he got ran over by a heartless person who was speeding
I hated the feeling I had a dog that my dad let escape by leaving the back gate open I have two cats and one dog now a chihuahua and to British short hairs but my boy cat looks like he’s a British long hair in the winter
Same my cat died and well... she died because someone ran her over on purpose I didn’t get to say goodbye

I’m literally crying about Noi losing his cat- Reminds me of when multiple pets died when I grew older- Like 5 and above idk- The current pet I lost was a lizard ( I love reptiles- ) and it’s kinda sad. Also the concept of this being Dia De Los Muetros Aka Day of the dead was beautiful since many of my family members died in 2020 and it’s nice to go remember them in that day
