Being a CA, I could relate to so many things depicted in this web series based on life of a CA Aspirant. It amazingly described how CA is not just a course but an emotion.

The best thing about the CA course is that there is no discrimination based on the caste system. SC, ST, OBC, and General candidates are all treated equally here. In simple term “ jo jitne mehnat karega wo pass hoga, no discrimination at all”. Hope they cover this topic also in this web series.

Touched me this. I cleared Company Secretary (CS) after 21 attempts. It took 12 years. It means I gave a more than a decade of my life to clear one Degree. Full of problems, struggles, lack of facilities, no educated background, marriage, no work. But I had only one thing and that was my dedication. I loose no hope. I never gave up.

CA is overhyped .I have seen 15-20 people preparing for CA all were average or below average.At last all cleared CA .Some cleared at 22 some at 25 . This is not the case in jee and Upsc there success rate is less than 0.5%

But I have seen briliant mind engineer from science, they could not clear CA even after more than 5 to 6 attempt. They are doing the same job. Yes.. This story belongs to every CA, CMA and CS.
Commerce field is obviously not as logical as science. Science has that crux of how everything actually works. And the kick you get, the chills you feel are higher than a commerce subject. Whatever potential a CA has, a science person would obviously have a little upper hand on them. Because he has more capabilities to understand the logic, think in a pattern, see the bigger picture and create formulas. Even your eco graphs come from the ideal curves of various science stuff. You guys think integration and differentiation is a waste of time and are only for science people but this is what tells about your mindset. Actually if you go deep inside, you will understand the importance of all Science logic in commerce. Science people are more broad.

Can a CA start Car manufacturing company, or any IT company? Commerce people can never build anything or operate anything like engineers and doctors do. World can happily leave without CAs but not without Engineers and Doctors. Right from your mobile to your bike, tv, fan and the youtube on which you are watching videos are built and operated by Engineers. Without Doctors also it's impossible to survive, but CAs are not necessary for the society and the world. So stop overhying this commerce courses.
And I'm also a commerce person and a CA, (successful CA), but that does not mean that we have any value addition to the society. We are a cost centre not profit center.

My father was a science graduate. He still chose to do CA. He became a CA more than 40 years ago and created his own successful CA practice. He was the most hard working person I have known. He was and still is an inspiration to me and my entire family. Unfortunately he passed away last year allasudden due to a heart-attack. I am not a CA, but this show brought a lot tears to my eyes. Reminded me of my dad and the constant hardwork and learning which he did throughout his life. The journey of a CA doesnt end when he or she passes the exam. The journey just takes a different direction after that. One has to keep unlearning and learning again with so many new rules and policies which keep coming. Watching the budget was a family ritual for me and all in the family thanks to my Dad being a CA. Please do make Season2. Every actor was superb, especially Gyanendra. Amazing. Thanks TVF.

The Chartered Accountant Regulations, 1988. Sub Regulation 39:
"The Council may, in its discretion, revise the marks obtained by all candidates or a section of candidates in any particular paper or papers or in the aggregate in such manner as may be considered necessary, for maintaining the standards of pass percentage provided in these Regulations".
Pass percentage maintain krne ke liye vo log baccho ke marks Kum kr sakte hai unnecessarily iska mtlb ye hai. Unka fix hai itne baccho ko pass Krna hai to baakio ko fail kr dete hai

Final episode was🔥 so relatable, ahsaas ka rona hit kiya mujhe... Ek tym tha jab mai uski trh bhot roi thi exam me panic ki thi to... Maine soch liya tha exm nh dungi baki but phir maine diya... 😢 Depression, anxiety real hota hai or yeh CA,CS & CMA wale ache tarah se smjh sakte hai.... 6 months ka gap , attempts ne attempts, parents and relatives k taane, self doubt, demotivate hona... Sab face krna padta hai.....

Am a Science guy but the struggle CA aspirants go through commendable man. Humn Engg toh easy se ban jaathein hai, but they just keep trying while facing societal judgements. Hats off
The course instills determination, Sacrifice, patience, dedication, focus, understanding and prioritising (mostly studies) from a very young age in an aspirant. It is a tough journey for most of us. I’m glad CA students have got some visibility.

As someone who has failed in intermediate twice in row and now preparing for a 3rd time, watching this trailer actually brought tears into my eyes. CA is not only a course, it's an emotion. Just to see that word 'PASS' means a lot, it doesn't matter if it's 200 or 400. Baas pass dikh jaaye waha.
Those newbies who are willing to pursue CA, don't hesitate, but keep in mind there's a lot of hardwork behind the scenes. Rest your result will show!!

This series is a blast. Being a ca student i find less time to watch series and chill. I thought to watch one episode per day, but i completed the whole season in a day 😂.
Every scene is so relatable that i was totally involved into it. Especially the last scene when she was getting anxious that her balance sheet did not tally, i was shouting to her to move on to next question as i know how it feels later.

Watching Half CA. Currently, I am on episode 2. As a CA, I would say it is a very lite version of the struggle faced by a CA aspirants.
I have always been fan of TVF creations... But finally a series on our profession... Felt each and every word in this trailer... Took 10 attempts to clear my Finals after clearing IPCC and CPT in my first attempt... The pain the agony and tears feels worthy when you use the prefix CA before your name...

Yes, CA ranks among the most challenging courses in our country, and no one can fathom the agony of not clearing it more than me. I've spent 11 long years, missed out on enjoying college life, and wasted what should have been the best years of my life (ages 22-28) in pursuit of getting the CA title.
I hold no one responsible for my circumstances except myself, recognizing that many individuals manage to clear the papers before turning 24.
Learning - Just don't get yourself too attach with one course, keep your options open
P.S. - stuck with group 1 of ca final already cleared finals group 2.
