What made it significantly worse was the fact is that I heard the sounds of windchimes hollow as if fashioned from death's skeletal form, desolate and overwhelming.

This is really neat! I guess we can all agree that the PS1 intro is quite unsettling despite also being nostalgic. It definitely gets creepier when the BIOS is corrupted. To be honest, the slow, corrupted music in 4:52 - 5:17 sounds like it would come from a horror game. /pos
for some reason, the fading did not exist on scph-1001 up to scph-7000 on the scph-1000 however which is older than the scph-1001 it does so this must be a weird bug instead of something intentional, especially when the fading somehow reactivates itself when the bios is broken
