This is BY FAR my favorite interview on CTDS. Chris is incredible. This guy is so intelligent and you can just feel his passion, enthusiasm, and energy for DS. Also 47:28 "The one key element is a flexible schedule." I totally get this. When you have autonomy and a flexible, less structured schedule, you have the freedom to explore and solve these intellectually challenging problems. Companies and organizations would benefit greatly from recognizing this approach. Also I love at 58:04 "...thousands and thousands of hours of GPU time..." Lol, well we know now why Kaggle decided to implement GPU quotas on all users.

It's always a great learning experience to go through your kernels Chris Deotte. I personally learnt a lot from your works on deep learning. You and Bojan are my favorite kagglers!
Wow! Chris is so full of energy and enthusiasm. He could probably go on for another hour. Now that is a person that absolutely loves what they do. Great inspiration, thanks for bringing him on the show Sanyam.
Please thank him for coming on! This was an episode where I was embarrassed of not having as much energy as much as the hero I was interviewing - Sanyam
i dont why RUclips deleted my comment (with link attached) of Chris started programming databases at age 7. But i just wanna say I didn't confuse him with anyone. I wish I could send you the link to his discussion on Kaggle about this!
