Back when Shell had the green refinery, campers were allowed to stay for a couple of weeks at a time along the loop road around March Point, right along the water, and there were picnic tables. It used to he pretty neat, but those days are over! I drove the loop last summer and and no camping signs are everywhere now.😢
You may have thought of this. Why not make the solar panels in to a truck cap. Get some marine grade plywood, painted whatever color you like to seal from water and bolt on solar panels on top. Then they are always out and you can add a snap on soft plether❤ cover to protect panels when not needed.😂❤
Hey yall, I'm in rapid city, SD. Broke my record of cold in my travel trailer -10⁰F with -25⁰ wind chill, lowest before was -5⁰. It's chilly. 30lb tank of propane lasts 3 days on good days. Like yalls trailer.
"Lily livered land lover" is the term you were trying to say. Between the two of you I think you had it.... LOL. And were those prices per week or month? That just looks too cold over there, glad you two can get out and enjoy it!
Nice video. Love your bridge and the look back at the dock & boats at the overnight spot. Do you know what the old large building you park across the street from was used for in its heyday? A cannery or maritime related warehouse? If one can live small but stay comfortable, reliable easily mobile housing is preferable. On one stay in a US forest campground, I met a camper that had inherited a 5th wheel unit. She owns a compact car but not a truck that can handle the 5th wheel unit. She had a service that moves her from one campground to another with tank dumps and necessary fill-ups on propane & water during the campsite transfers. At the then $7/night (1/2 $14/night senior rate) plus the moving fee she enjoys her summers out of the Phoenix summer heat fairly reasonably.
I've asked quite a few folks, and the closest that I've heard was that it was some sort of cannery. "Old cannery" is the phrase that was used, but that was their best guess. I love watching the bats and birds make it their home, though I don't expect it will still be there in another 20 years. I will enjoy it while it lasts. 😊 Sounds like that gal has a pretty good setup! I've heard of those services, much cheaper than having your own truck with maintenance and having to fiddle with hookups and such. Good for her!
dude a 400 dollar alternator you so funny as you just bought a new truck and trailer lol enjoy the video.. maybe a cap on the bed of the truck so you can put some additional solar thought about that? you probably did..
Nice upgrades, the display is cool, the thinner tires should help, I prefer the new plastic fenders, and the blue is cool! I would never believe the 200 mi range, but it's definitely the one to get if someone wants a cargo bike!
Hahaha Ramsicle indeed! Oh yeah, I have neglected to mention that. I mentioned a little bit ago that the Ram's new nickname is "Indy" and that it matches the trailer, I'll have to bring that up in the next video!
Love the scene in the first seconds ❤
Isn't it lovely out there?!
@@CozyLivingMachine really makes me wanna hop over the pond and explore 😂🙌
Nice blue skies.
Hey guys ! Great video ! That water is so blue and beautiful 👍👍👍👍👍👍 just watching the video made me 🥶😂
Thanks!! I don't think the video does it justice. Nothing on Key West, but I'll never complain! Yeah, it's been a little chilly lately... 🥶

That would have been quite a nice option!! It's a beautiful area to enjoy for a night or two.
I love your videos. Thank you!
I'm glad!
Very pretty area.

That's exactly why we're not paying another $400 for a while. 🤣 No truck cap in our future, Emma hates those! 😂
whats your thoughts on the Lectric Xpedition 2.0? 200 mile range, better upgrades.

Ramcicle. 🧊 Pretty sunrise! Nice bridge and water footage! Do we know the name of the Escape yet? Did I miss that?
