It was such a treat to see your dress come together yesterday! My heart was full when I left, wonderful stories and recollections of family wedding traditions and lots of reminiscing from everyone. Flippin’ joyous, that’s what it was!

I’d love to see a Fairfield revisit video. It’s my all-time favourite for my husband in both short and long-sleeved versions. And the skirt make for your sister.

Awesome channel So What! Wow! Busy people are happy people! I like your choices! Mine too! Choosing to sew was a quality choice, philosophy! I am a 69 year old boy living in Montreal, Canada. I was doing my research checking out sewing channels recently and I was fortunate to find yours.
I like the machine. I will get that machine in the next few months, if my sewing needs one!
I sew denim; for 2 weeks only so far! I have been restoring (?), Vintage Singer's, think 401A, most of the 1950's &'60's models up to around the 237, 338, 458! All those eternal, built to last for ever machines, the 400 & 500 series models. But I bought a brand machine 3 weeks ago. It is a Singer HD44S Heavy Duty. But 3 weeks ago I was trying to find a Singer 4452. What I found was a Singer 4423 and a Singer X5004 HD Serger! I stumbled onto a very creative artist. She was selling off her sewing stuff, She moved to London, England last week! I bought loads of sewing accessories & stuff. The value is incredible! I spent C$1,000.00! How fortunate! Anyway, I won't comment a lot, but I intend to be one of your top RUclips viewers, subscriber, liker and I watch right to the end!
I spend a lot of time ironing & wash fabric, clothes. I bought 12 pairs of jeans last week from a coupe of thrift, vintage stores.
Thank you for all your good work! Good luck with your Ph. D! Since you love learning, consider Classical Latin & French. Do the Latin first, it's less complicated than French. I love them both! Thank you, Gratias ago tibi, merci beaucoup! Enjoy! Hasta luego!

I have been to the Witney shop recently and it was so nice to be in a proper sewing shop. I bought some gorgeous William Morris fabric and the Nicks pattern. I wish I lived near( we were on a little holiday). You are so right about small businesses! Laura was there and helped me loads.

Based on what you are wearing in this video, you might enjoy sewing up the Toaster Sweater from Sew House 7... I don't know exactly your style, so it might not make sense, but you could check it out and see if you like the line drawings. I sewed three last winter and I'm excited to sew more this winter!

In the middle of a toile' the Brynn. Be aware, the boobs are(I think if I remember correctly 2") negative ease and the hips have toooo much ease. If your not an hour glass figure....????
I'm just making the vest view and it's becoming an opus. Soooo many changes for the best fit. Changes I've never had to do in the past for any pattern... I don't usually need to make any changes to most patterns for fit except adding usually 2" for height. (in 5'8")... My suggestion if you're going to attempt the Brynn... Do a toile'
