Good information to glean from here. Much appreciated. It's almost like there should be a 30 second instructional disclaimer before, each sermon, so that people see true meaning towards a written message drawing them to Jesus. It's helpful so that, people don't think that they're not connecting at times. It's about the word in Christ not our personal stories. What a great reminder because, people do like personal stories tied into the message. That should be saved for a personal one on one edification at times.
I have a question. What gives with pastors lifting sermons off of websites like sermon central? Is that the norm these days? I have actually followed right along verbatim during church on sermon central right down to the ums and ohs. To me, and I find I’m somewhat out of touch these days, but one should pray for God to lead them to a message to deliver to their congregation rather than copy and paste.
