Yeah putting video games back into a channel that was originally about a bunch of goofball friends playing video games was a no brainer and also necessary decision.
This year just started, but I doubt I'll laugh as hard at anything the rest of the year as I did watching 4 grown adults spin during the error screen.

Ify is back...THE RETURN OF THE KING! And this video didn't disappoint. Putting him together with Ian, Courtney, and Shayne from iCarly is exquisite. "It's going to hit so many" Courtney warned Ian he could get a strike and it happened...you had one job, Ian. ONE JOB! The people are booing for them when they get zero and you're like "Oh no! _ANYWAY!_" Do a shot every time they spin...seriously, the fact you guys did the spin as well was priceless.

Andre is a great editor. He deserves a raise. The way he cut out the one round was really clean, I almost didn't notice. But why didn't they show Ian's last throw?

Because it's all about your setup angle and if you get a spin on it which is minor, and those are the only real factors. Real bowling the wrong twitch of your arm, wrist, or even fingers can send your ball off course quite easily. Along with the fact that the game will always have a "perfect" lane whereas real bowling can potentially have unlevel imperfections or uneven oiling.

We used to play this for real, at practice sometimes back when I still bowled. The "correct" way to play, as I see it, is that you must hit at least one pin every throw. If you get 0 pins on your first throw, it is marked as a strike, and if you get 0 on your second throw (doesn't matter if it's a gutter or missing all of the remaining pins) it's marked as a spare. So each frame is a two pin minimum. It's a great way to practice your spare game. Especially if you have issues with sparing 7 or 10.
I missed Ify on Smosh so much, I hope he's back for a while ❤
Absolutely immaculate vibes on this one. It’s so excellent to see Ify again, Andre’s creativity as an editor is a joy to behold, the “don’t win” format is fantastic, and of course, the jump+spins in time with the Miis were just delightful. I’m really loving this era of Games :’)

I remember wii bowling had a mini game where it kept adding a row of pins each round and you couldn't gutter. That could be an interesting video with so high stakes. I think the last frame a strike got you 90 pins.
