Tallon, I'm a big fan of yours. The dad at 2:55 has a valid point. No doubt he's being protective of his kids. That skate park, maybe if you arrive when it opens, first thing in the am and you will have it all to yourself for a great shoot and no risk to the little ones. 🙂

The skate park is where skaters do a ton of dangerous stuff kids can get hurt there no matter what surron there or not

I think it's all about the kind of tricks that can be done nowadays like freestyle motocross but that will probably come soon on a Surron as well, and he'll probably be at the forefront of it all when it happens. Backflips and all. Maybe being done already and I just haven't seen it yet. Hit up Pastrana to see what all is possible with that.

When you a land hard on the Surron and it shuts off, it could be the tip over sensor activating. The tip over sensor is removable, so you could try that.

1st off I bet that dude is the same kind of guy they had taken his kids to askatepark to play on it like it a slide park, 2nd I went full face after a close call also. 3rd his bike is shutting off do to the tilt sensor, mine did the same thing on big hits, so just remove that sensor and it's no long a problem. Keep making great videos.

Taking a sur ron to skate park might not be a good idea . Hit a small kid there’s going to be legal issues .

I agree to a certain extent. I actually have more control on my ebike. It has 2 brakes and I’m not moving near as fast as I would be if I were on my BMX bike without brakes. Skatepark etiquette is key if you don’t want your kids getting hit. I’ve seen multiple skaters, Bmx riders, even roller skaters plow over kids just because they’re running around the park with no etiquette. And their parents are usually just sitting on a bench letting them free roam. When I take my ebike to the skatepark I’m extra aware and I’m always keeping an eye out for my surroundings.

good stuff but I was nervous when I saw little kids skating around near the surron. probably not a good idea. you'll understand once you have kids/babies.
Prior to having kids, I had zero regard for kids and saw them as hindrances to my fun time.
After having kids, I'm very protective and proactive for my kids (and others). They are so fragile and the smallest accident can have lifelong consequences. Ain't no way some dumbass is going to take away my kids' quality of life
Totally understand. It’s actually easier to stop and avoid people on my Surron vs if I was riding my Bmx bike. I go a lot faster and don’t have brakes so it’s harder for me to stop and maneuver around people that are in my way. I always keep an eye out for my surroundings especially if it’s busy and if I see anyone in the distance I try my best to give them space especially when I’m on my Surron.
I mean there’s dangers to life, and kids are prone to not paying attention so🤷

What’s going to happen if you hit a kid going 20mph on a 22 lb bmx vs hitting a kid going 20 mph on a 113lb surron? Plus you can’t pretend that you can maneuver your surron better, bmx is so much more nimble. It looks hella fun don’t get me wrong but to be real neither you or those little kids shoulda been at that skatepark
Little kid's brains are garbage, they'll stroll out into the street in front a cement mixer like it's nothing. You gotta treat them like caffinated squirrels, particularly when you realize that their parents obviously don't know skate park etiquette (dude was sitting on a rideable feature for god's sake). Everyone views the world through the lens of their own experience. As a young man, little kids were the worst. When I got a dog, I thought dogs should be allowed in restaurants. When my kids were young I thought that I should be able to take them to the friggin movies. Now that my dog is dead (rip Bacon) and my kids are older my perspectives have changed yet again. Hell, in this thread I can see every stage of my evolution represented by folks who are currently living it. If I had any advice for ya it'd be to be nicer to your bones (I have a f'd up back, neck, knees, ankles, crooked/broken fingers, etc.) and try to think ahead. You smoke a little kid on these electric motorcycles and the best case scenario is this channel gets shut down. Worst case, you're getting cuffed.

@@tallonpemberton just don't take the surron to the skate park, or like the guy said, go one no one is there. Sure if your BMX doesn't have brakes, the surron is gonna stop faster, but that's a poor rationalization. It doesn't matter how much you look out for the groms on scooters, they aren't looking out for you and don't understand etiquette when dropping in.
20 years ago when I rode BMX, what few public skate parks there were, most didn't allow BMX bikes or required you to ride pegless. The only good outdoor park was Mable Davis, but depending on the crowd there it was 50/50 that you would get kicked out. We did have a few badass indoor parks, one in N. Austin and one out towards Georgetown, RIP. At the end of the day, the surron is a dirt bike and has no business at the skate park(ripping that pump track sure looked fun though). Doing so may get all bikes banned from the skatepark. All it takes is a handful of pissed off parents to push more legislation on e-bikes that will ruin the fun for everyone.
Looks like back wheel bearing are shot and the bike dying is probably a tip sensor or throttle cable issue.

Yo love the videos man! been binging them! Also, wanted to ask if you guys ever figured out your boys power cut off problem? whenever I even wheelie and come back down i lose all throttle response.
Thanks homie! It can be a few issues! I’d take out all of your sensors (tilt, kickstand, brakes) and then if that doesn’t solve the issue it could be your battery moving around if you don’t have it secured. We usually just stuff foam on the sides of our battery to keep it in place.

Not at all you can get an Prickly Motorsport upgraded linkage in the rear and it raises it up a little bit! Should be perfect for you!
as for the surron shutting off, have you checked the peg down auto shut off wire?

@@tallonpemberton it could be that the chain slapping around so much that it's eaten away the teeth on the rear sprocket a buddy of mine had issues with his they rear sprockets on these aren't that good just get a dirt bike one will last way longer

as another surron rider who skates, leave the skate park to the skaters, scooters, and bmx riders. Love to see you riding that pump track but it is taking it away from the skaters. Try and find a dirt pump track or something that is similar.

for the problem with it shutting off, you need to disable the tip over sensor. just look up a simple tutorial.

Bike has an anti tip feature which kills the bike. Bet those tables your throwing is causing it to go off. You can turn it off in the eggrider settings

I know the dude at the start was just looking out for everyone, but what does it really matter if the bike is motorized? Just because it has a motor doesn't make it more dangerous to the little kids around. Bros gonna get more hurt trying to ride in flip-flops than he is by an ebmx.
i think you guys have removed the stands and such but if not could it be the stand sensor tripping it? other thought would be the tip/angle sensor as stated in other comments, either way go hard or go home!!!!!!!!!
