Just to say, student of Parashuram and son of Sun God and authentic elder brother of Pandavas, even Gods had to take his defence by request so that Pandavas can win. Forget about the weapons he possessed for attack, Karna's impenetrable armour itself is the ultimate defense in all of Mahabharata. No doubt Arjun was one of the strongest warrior in Mahabharata. For pandavas it was war of dharma against the Kauravas. But for Karna alone it was war of competent against the whole Aryan society. There was no fair battle between them, but undoubtedly the struggle of Karna was far more superior than that of Arjun.

@@PreparewithShivamkumar I know what he went through. His Life long struggle to gain respect, I get that. But saying it’s far superior than Arjuna’s struggle is just stretching it. Arjuna And the Pandavas suffered a lot their entire life because of the Kauravas and partly due to Karna as well.

While krishna was eloping with rukmini, eklavya alongside with shishupal and jarasandh (if i remember correctly) had confronted krishna. This is where eklavya was killed by krishna himself, both because he was in his way of eloping with his wife and also because he could have been a strong opposition in the war of dharma (mahabharat war).
But, to honour his sacrifice of his thumb and his submission towards his guru, krishna blessed him to be reincarnated as dhrishtidhyumn, the one who killed drona-the guru who asked for his thumb.
Karna and arjuna both were god gifted, undefeated and had hard lives, but one was on the side of good while one supported the evil. One was chosen by krishna in the re-establishment of dharma while one chose to support adharma even though he knew. Not to mention how karn insulted draupadi. It made all the difference.
In the end, you see, justice is always served.

Karna can never be defeated by anyone, not even Tridev combined but only as long as he holds the Vijaya Dhanush in his hands. That's why Lord Krishna told Arjuna to kill Karna when Karna kept Vijaya dhanush on his chariot to remove the stuck wheel in mud.

Only till he has the bow given by lord Parashuram. Lord Parashuram's own bow Vijaya makes the wielder invincible & it's not some made up story. This is why lord Parashuram is invincible.
@Babu M Later Lord Shiva instructed Indra to give the bow to Parashurama for combating evil that had spread in the Kshatriya race. It gave the possessor invincibility. With this bow Parashurama destroyed the Kshatriya race 21 times. And through Parashurama the Vijaya bow was finally obtained by Karna.
