This was an amazing tutorial dude! If there’s one thing that helps me out the most in fight scenes it’s definitely Monty Oum’s Rule of Cool. Anyway I’ll definitely be using this tutorial. Thanks a ton man!
Always nice to see each pov, that's always by combining different style that you create yours. Thanks for this tutorial, which will make me think way more about the wide angles I always take because of my camera's focus. About the legs, I bought some newplast plasticine to cover all my set, so mb doing run cycle with a frame in the air with a rig could make it really cool in wide angle. It's so funny how cycles are something not interesting for people who dont do stop-motion while it is something really complex, usually showing the animator's style by itself.
Really good advice. For both run and walk cycles I either a) show from the waist up or b) cut to somebody else or c (if I *really* have to) animate the character leaving in a walk/run and then cut to them arriving (i.e. cut out the journey). Oh... and animating on clay rather than studs. I *hate* studs.
Damn man your really skilled at stop motion, you definetaly need more subscribers, you have a really unique way of stop motion, especially with your camera angles
This was a really good tutorial I definitely needed to see this. I didn't say this last time but congrats on 1000 subs cuz you really deserve it for your outstanding talent and effort.
I use Blender and SFM. I recommend Blender because it has zero limits. It is easier to animate in than SFM, not too sure about mmd I haven't used it. You can also check out some tutorials from Cake Station.
Hey friend! Just wondering if I can use this video in my upcoming animation tutorial for my stop motion contest? If used you'll be sent a goodie bag of stickers and other items :) Contest: ruclips.net/video/MoJ3yLEtBhg/видео.html

Great. I needed this! I just use sticky tack on my figures at all times!
I hate animating the legs too I remember that being a pain

Honestly I hate clay more. My clay is weak
Dafter Things I just put sticky tack on their feet and it allows for much smoother animation.
This was very interesting and so informative for stop motion newbies like me , so well delivered too. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Could we maybe see how many frames per second is recommended or how to make a good background. Also great animation
I use 13-15 but its each animator should go at their own pace
@@AKMotionsThank you! I hope to make stop motions as good as you and many others, i will let you know when i make a stop motion if thats ok
Alright man! May seem difficult at first but keep with it👍
@@AKMotions hey I doubt your gonna see this 😂 you might but what tripod do you use?
I don't use a tripod. I used a makeshift phone holder out of legos.
I like this tutorial video, if you can, do more!
Also cool to know that the reaper arm blade things work on halo figures
Nice tutorial dude, I'm trying to do my first small stop motion piece for the beginning of my first Halo Infinite video. This really helped, thanks.
Thanks for the advice this will help my animations a lot because I always use a wide shot
Yeah, they are like the friend you thought was nice until you met an actual friend who is nice.
Also how many frames per second do you do
Wonderful! I would like to see more tutorials about camera positions, I think that's the hardest thing in animation
It is very difficult in stopmotion where your usually not able to pan a camera 360° around a character. Usually you only get 180°
Tysm I really suck at moving with mega construx it's DO hard but after watching this it really helps
Damn man your really skilled at stop motion, you definetaly need more subscribers, you have a really unique way of stop motion, especially with your camera angles

Fight tutorial
I rather run like the halo
Me taking 50 hours to animate 10 seconds of running
At least you'll master it
Once you get the hang of it you'll only spend 12-20 minutes.
Elite legs work better
