Thanks, Good Video. If we want to explain in one liners - Row_numbers generate IDs; Rank Generates Rank and skips subsequent ranks if the same rank is assigned for multiple rows; a dense_rank make sure ranks are not skipped. is that right?

Can you clarify below question please..
My output for row_number function is below
Select row_number() over(partition by record_no order by record_no) R_num,record_no,record_type
R_num,record_no,recored_type
1, 767,105
1,564,106
2,564,107
1,887,108
2,887,105
3,887,103
1,662,104
1,880,106
If I want to retrieve only record_num having count >1.Then what should be the query
My expected output should be like below
1,564,106
2,564,107
1,887,108
2,887,105
3,887,103
This is phenomenal !
Thank you so much, that was really useful to know.
6:35 I wasn't expecting to get some philosophy while watching a video to better understand why a collegue wrote a query this way.
Very good explanation!! Thank you :)
This is very useful information. Thank you
Very good
