This was a pretty good Christmas special. But I didn’t like how the ending was the typical Ed Edd n Eddy ending, where everyone comes off happy except for of course the Eds.
From I read online, if they succeed anything once, that's the end of the show, hinse forth why the movie ends on good note, as they get something they want.
As far as I could remember, this may be the only cartoon or kids’ show that reference the Nativity, the real story behind Christmas, while keeping Santa and the “peace and harmony”/“goodness from the heart” idea. One of my favs ❤

Kids hate getting clothes as a gift. Hell, I'm an adult and I still hate getting clothes as a gift on any occasion. It's just the lamest thing anyone can think of when shopping for presents.
My folks used to wrap up clothes as presents while the toys were hid in the back of my Dads pickup. Since they knew my older brother liked to peek, they put out decoys and if he looked visibly upset later at dinner, they'd have known that he peeked but only found clothes

I'm highly aware that Christmas isn't about presents and getting everything you want, and it's about family and sharing love and kindness for those who don't have a family. However, when it comes to my family giving me presents... at this rate, I'd personally merely prefer money or a gift card for my favorite stores. I'm doing my folks a favor when I ask for that...because they often buy me something that I don't really like. I don't want to hurt their feelings and say I don't like it, because obviously they'll take me for being ungrateful. Yet, if I have no use for the item, that's still in conclusion a waste of their money. You know what I'm saying? Now that I'm grown with a job and my own money, I prefer spoiling myself with what I like, next to treating myself on my birthday. Which is the 27th of December.😅😊 All in all, without sounding spoiled....it always felt like if I tell my folks what I want or what I like, they'd always alternate what I asked for into something They would like. Thus, disappointing me, which is why I say "Either stick to my wishlist, or just don't even bother. I'll do or get it myself!" I guess I easily have that bougie attitude, in me. 🤗 But don't get me wrong though, I'm all about giving myself. Man I couldn’t imagine a bigger fumble in the series as Eddy did with Nazz in the special. Although, a moment in the movie does come to mind.
