That is just a Xoloitzcuintli, a domestic dog also known as "mexican hairless dog", and about the dead animals, it was definitely just domestic dogs, sometimes dogs kill other animals for sport, and it looks exactly like the chupacabra reports, the animals have the dog's fangs marks on their neck, most predators kill that way, and they appear to have no blood because the blood goes to the lower parts of the dead animal's body because of the gravity.
I would say go find the chewpacabras in Puerto Rico, but it actually might be way dangerous, lol. I personally knew someone who had seen a Chewpacabra in Puerto Rico, but the descriptions were of more of a giant bat, but they claimed it basically looked like a wolf with wings. There are bats in Puerto Rico, but I'm not sure how many species or if there's any large species of bats in Puerto Rico. I'm only familiar with the small ones. Idon't live there, but I used to visit family a lot when I was younger. The only wolf face species i can remember that actually exist are fruit bats that eat fruit and insects , but I don't know if Puerto Rico has any of those. However, with past illegal pet trades , there could be some non native animals brought there, and for all we know, some could have been some other bats species, not native.

Mentioning because the Doctor stated that both had wide chests on part 1 so I was curious as to the actual fact. Am pretty sure that coyotes do actually have a preference for flowing blood and it is the reason that frequently kill their prey by skinning it alive then proceed to lick the blood off the animal as it flows from everywhere. Sadly, that is also the reason that hearing them make a kill is terrible and heartbreaking due to the sound the prey makes.
