I love that this is canon now, especially since I was shipping it from the very first episode. I just didn’t think that they’d have the guts to actually have an on-screen kiss between Catra and Adora. Disney could *never* .
I spent a good amount of the video thinking this was from Catra's perspective, so when I realized it might be from Adora's perspective (all the thing Catra said) I gasped
Me watching all those fighting scenes and thinking how easily they could beat the other but always let them slip. She-ra is never using all her power and Catra never use her claw on Adora, only on She-ra.
Can we be honest? Catra was CLEARLY a better fighter than Adora. Take away She-Ra and Catra would have wiped the floor with her every time, if she didn't hold back so much against her.
That's clearly the conclusion the show wanted us to draw, given how hard she worked to prove herself. She's able to go up against magic armed with nothing but claws and rage.
I honestly think that Adora herself was a better fighter than Catra, even without the power of She-ra, but she holds herself back when fighting Catra. However, Catra does have some advantages that make her a formidable fighter for Adora.
