It never ceases to amaze me how much WORK, STAMINA, AND VISION goes into making the 1-2 hour movies that we watch. Most of us never give a THOUGHT to how hard it is for the entire team to create these visions for us to enjoy. I've often thought "I could do that" but then I see things like this and it's "Ummm, nope, I can't do that"! Maybe a sweet children's movie or something but nothing like this or The Last of the Mohicans. I am ever so grateful for the people who do have the vision, creativity, and stamina to create such things for the rest of us. Thank you all so very much.
I'm Canadian (B.C.) and thank you so much for to all working on this series. Canada is in our first stages of any real attempt of reconciliation with our First Nations. Shedding any light on the true history of First Nations to the Americas l. As what colonization did and it's horrific truth. There is a lot of resistance to this. Many of us Canadians have fought for this and have a long ways to go, to create real acknowledgment of the genocide. Or the practices still in excistance today that are a continuance of that genocide. So hard to even get the dialogue going and keep it going. To get non First Nations to put their guard down enough to listen. "Frontier" has become yet another tool to get that dialogue going. To create a bridge of curiosity↔ knowledge↔compassion↔ understanding. There will be no change if we don't start that journey. We need to open our minds, prejudice and politics, to see the true value of all our Indigenous people around the world. They are the stewards of Mother Earth. Shows like "Frontier" helps to get some people to at least, open that door and peek in or jump in. I know it may sound sappy but I have seen it happen. Besides anyone who will walk into our winters and wilderness has my respects! It's freaky cold :D
To have the talent you have, the success you have, the recognition you have, the skills you have, in so many different disciplines, yet to remain so humble, so honest, so generous, and so kind, with your integrity fully intact and on display in everything you do, and say, and to achieve all this before 40, demonstrates that you are, unquestionably, not just a "once in a generation" artist, but a "once in a generation" human being. I am grateful to be alive, in this world, at this time, that I may benefit not just from your artistry, but your humanity.
I Spy uhmm... what?? his voice is definitely a beautiful speaking voice but that was not my point lol. just saying he inspires me to follow my dreams & to believe that nothing's impossible
I can't agree with you more. The first time I ever saw Jason was in thw red road and I went back and watched game of thrones. Then I watched a bunch of interviews. And that is the word to describe him.....inspiring. He makes people want to put their damn phones down and actually get out and live! Live life to it's fullest. Go discover, go wander and see what you find. There's so much out there and I think people get trapped in their little bubbles sometimes and forget that.
Ashley Martin wow exactly haha that's literally exactly what i thought and everytime he's talking about his story and his kids family origin... just everything is very eye opening& inspiring to have an more open mind
@Skeletor Yeah, what's that about? All I want to do is hear how "Frontier" is made. And if getting aroused by his voice is a side effect of that, then it's a side effect of that.
Man, they shot everything on location on this show. I thought maybe they used a giant fan for the blizzard scenes but nope, a real blizzard! I like how they showcased Canada's harsh and stunning landscapes. I'm also grateful that a big star like Momoa chose to star in a Canadian series and played such a dynamic character from our past.
My ancestors came from the Ojibwa tribe.. They lived in the area at the time in Manitoba Canada. Thank you for helping tell the story of the Hudson Bay Area Indians and what they went through.
When one is deep into nature, standing between life and death, their ego is gone, and all that is left faces them like a reflection in water. It is at that moment, absolute freedom exists in that soul for a split second--an eternity. If they flinch it disperses like ripples, if they stare back, they know it all.
Bloody hell man, that is exquisite. I hope that in 10 generations time, they still get to see the snow and ice in its raw state, and that the white stuff that falls from the sky, is more than a myth or legend.
Carolina Martinez if we don’t stop hurting our Mother Earth, She will show us how frail we are. I think that when it comes down to it she will end us and then take the time to heal. Maybe many thousands of years, but she will find balance even if she has to remove us from the chain of life.
The cinematography of season 3 was majestic. I was in pure awe watching the scenes in that sink hole. That place was an oasis of comfort for the 3 of them after crossing the blustering windy plains of snow and ice.
Love Frontier, being a maritimer myself, it’s so cool to see celebs come and shoot on the Canadian east coast. It truly is a hidden gem here. We are overlooked so much and barely anyone comes here that gives us recognition so, when someone does actually travel here they are blown away. We may not have the huge popular cities but our culture, landscape and beauty is second to none.
Jason, you're such a great actor, but you and this series go together like butter and biscuits LOL. For real though, Frontier is just mesmerizing and epic and all the work the cast and crew does just shines.
There is something so primal about you that I relate to your soul. Friendship, adventure, love of life and laughter. Thanks for sharing your life with us. 🤘🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏻🤘🏾❤️💋👑

Bravo to all of you and may you all always be safe in all you do. Total admiration. ❤❤❤❤

@@accountnew7030 he is polynesian
@@inthedms82 does this mean that he can be considered as indian native American? I'm sorry if it sounds a bit rude, I'm just really not aware of this whole thing :)
This scene was absolutely breathtaking. I loved "nature's chandelier". I could feel the chill in my bones while watching it. Thank you for pushing the limits and boundaries with your work. 💗
Jason: I want you to watch my IG, josettetaylor09. I’m getting your “ROAM” tat on my arm, and when I do, I’ll tag you. Love you, man-hope to see you at Fan Expo Dallas.😘✌🏼
