Ahh have to go back and watch your other videos on your new home!! We just closed on our new build on March 6th! So exciting! I have to watch and see what you’ve done! We went into quarantine here in CA literally a week after we moved so we’re still missing so much decor and things we need for our home. Can’t wait to be off this so we can finish our decor!
I can only imagine! We moved in feb 6 so thankfully we had those few weeks before things went crazy! I’ve been trying my best to keep up with the home updates lol I hve like 2 more videos I’m editing with some of the things we’ve been doing around the house

Great house but most builder spec homes will paint your home for you.....you just need to link up with the foreman and bring them the paint. If you want crazy lines just hand the painters a few dollars

hi there, i stumbled on your video as we are getting ready to close on our Lennar home. When you painted your walls, you were using an edger for the trim. Where did you buy it and what brand. This would help me so much. I seen how quick you painted the edge of your wall. Looking forward to your response. Thank you in advance.

We got everything at Lowe’s!
We used an edger with no wheels (the wheels usually get paint on them and it’s over after that 😆 I just made sure to not saturate it with paint and I tend to have a steady hand)
The brand was Sherwin Williams I think the HGTV collection, color in Agreeable Gray, and we did I believe eggshell finish ☺️
How has this held up? We are getting one of these and I’m curious

No, each lot is already preselected with the house, color and which way it’s flipped!

About how many sq feet is the home? I do have an appointment with Lennar and I'm excited, but I'm worried I might not have enough space bc there are only townhouses right now. They do look spacious though, but I'd like a comparison. Thanks

Have you guys had any complaints with Lennar? I'm thinking of purchasing a home through them.
No, we have no complaints! The process was pretty smooth for us didn’t have any issues before and after moving in which I was worried about because of the other videos on RUclips. We had some trouble with an outlet or two but we just called Lennars handyman and he came out the same day. If we were to move again Lennar would be at the top of my list to look at!

Let me just say your home is beautiful, congrats! We just bought a lennar home that won’t be finished for few months.. i wanted ask the upgraded tiles do you have to pay for that instantly or is that added to your home purchasing or part of the mortgage? How does that work? Thanks a ton!! 🙂
I'll answer that question for you since this girl won't answer your question, whatever options you want to add it will be part of your mortgage but FYI you are better off going basic and upgrading on your own. These builders charge way too much which is why we are going basic when it comes to flooring at our Lennar home

Thank you! No, sorry we aren’t in Texas but I’ve heard they got some great homes out there! We did all the footwork ourselves so stay up to date on Zillow! If you plan to buy new def start looking now so the home will be done by the time your lease is up!

We went on opening day and caught it in low 400s. Yes, our backyard is on the smaller side.. I just realized I didn’t show it in this video! I do show the backyard size in my “construction house tour video”. The way it was for us is the model homes backyard size was is what it will be so we have an idea. Our floor plan had the smallest backyard unfortunately but we’ve made it work we already finished!

The house looks beautiful, I am interested in Lennarn do you have HOA fees and if so what does it cover?
Thank you! We have mello-roos and it’s suppose to cover the new schools that will be built, the upkeep of the neighborhood. The difference we found from the HOA is that comes with the clubhouse which is what we don’t have access to with mello-roos
Beautiful house congrats! I got a question, To yourself and other lennar owners also can answer, does the "everything included" includes tile floor in all areas except the bedrooms or just wet areas and gotta pay for the upgrade?
Thank you! So the “standard” tile flooring (which is what we ended up keeping) is included in the wet areas and kitchen and dining section. You’ll have the option to upgrade whatever section of the house you want to add tile to like the hallways, living room and bedrooms. The price to upgrade with the standard tile really wasn’t bad!
Looking back now we wished we would’ve picked out a flooring upgrade at the design center that was reasonable.. upgraded the family room and hallways, pay our percentage and then throw the rest to the back of the loan.
The other thing not included from Lennar is the washer/dryer!

Did you experience any issues with the new home by Lennar? I saw lots of negative reviews
We personally had no issues or bad experience with them! Before our 1 year was up they called to check if there was anything that needed fixing. A lot of the bad experiences I heard about Lennar has all been on the east coast so I’m sure it differs!
