The Color PURPLE! The Art of Mixing Gorgeous Purples! Color Mixing Demystified!

Something as easy as color mixing should seem like a no-brainer but it can be extremely complicated and frustrating. In this short video I will try to demystify the process and explain why you may be having trouble mixing arguably the most elusive color on the color wheel. We will talk warm and cool colors and I will name names, color names that is as paint names can be our guide to warm and cool across the different mediums. It doesn't matter if you paint in watercolor, gouache, oil or acrylic this video will explain the COLOR Purple and how we can mix it correctly.
The paint colors used in the vides were Cadmium Red Light, Scarlet Red, Alizarin Crimson from warmest to coolest. The Blues I used were Ultramarine Blue, Primary Cyan and Thalo Blue (green shade), from warmest to coolest. These colors are available across different mediums watercolor, gouache, acrylic and oil.
