I've always liked m2 machines! They have never really taken off compared to hot wheels. They market as a premiere diecast for collectors and people use them to easily customize. I dig them!
M2 is my favourite brand. I've got almost every casting and really enjoy it. Yes, there are some qc issues sometimes, but all fixable and not serious so all love ❤
I got the M2 Coke GN to delete the graphics when it first came out. When I measured it I was very disappointed. Thought for some reason it would be true scale but it's way too big... here's hoping Auto World or even Tarmac Works makes one. I absolutely love the vans though.
I think the ‘32 Ford looks like a little gem and I’ll be on the look out for one of those! I really enjoyed the review, thanks Champ. From an Aussie perspective M2’s are priced at the same level as MiniGT’s and they’re definitely not in the same league as far as quality & value for money. Interesting subject matter for sure but definitely an exercise in Russian roulette when it comes to finding one that isn’t exhibiting some form of major QC issues. I did snag one of their ‘49 Mercury Custom’s & to be fair that was a pretty nice (& reasonably in scale) casting.
M2 machines got me back to my hot rod collection...gathered about 12 of the 32 ford coupe black and silver, a couple of the mooneyes 32 coupe and latest addition the 32 roadster. Such good castings which led me to add a couple yatming road signature 32 and 33 ford coupes. Be careful with that rabbit hole.
I like the white M2. I like that it has side mirrors that look like the ones on the actual cars. I like the head/tail light inserts. I do not like the plastic base. Next up would be the blue one, metal base is a big + but missing the other details. Don't really care for either of the black ones. Regals with the turbo engine were T Type, Grand National (GN) or Grand National Experimental (GNX). T Types could be had in any color or trim level. GN & GNX only came in black. T Types weighed slightly less than GNs and were a very little bit quicker.
Hey its about time my mom had the same 87 regal white and red I grew up in that car got my license in it! The hotrod is sweet too I think its the proper skinny wheels that make it look real.
You're right about the Racing Champions casting having JL on the base but being sold as a RC. I have to go thru my collection of these but I noticed the same thing with mine.
Quality issues still happen today with M2, got the Moon Eyes '32 Ford Tudor Sedan. The Frontgrill leans to on side, also the engine and the Frontlights lean bachwards. I payed 19€ for it with this bad Quality, If it was 8-9€ Like a Greenlight, i can live with it, but near 20€ Like a Inno64? Never again! Greets from Germany.
Remember that black Grand National did come out as a Coke car first. I did show it to you. The real win with the coke would be the 250 piece raw chase if you could find it. I am up to about 30 or more different castings of the GN including the recently acquired metal base JL and the larger JL Guns N Roses version.
I acknowledge that it's probably harder to measure 32 Ford Coupes with most, including this casting being rod style that is not replicating an factory 32 Ford Coupe, but does this casting run large like a lot of other M2 models?
You're right about M2 not from an honest standpoint being a true 1/64; I once bought a '57 Chevy Nomad M2'Ground Pounder Series. Besides its cartoonish premise, THAT M2 example dwarfed my other 1/64 models and ended up as sort of a protruding sore thumb. I gave it to my friend. The WORST in 1/64, though, is Jada. Bought a '51 Volkswagen Transporter 1/64, and THAT proved to be a very odd 1/50 scale that also looked awkward in line with the remaining 1/64 I had. Jada is a brand to be avoided if you want 1/64:cars that measure up as they should, and don't have a sculptured, crude look.
I like the fact that M2 has come out with some new castings (Chevelle, GNX & others). I like most of their racing liveries and also the plain stuff that just looks like a clean real vehicle. What I don’t like is the poor quality control issues. Still too many broken parts always floating around. As I have mentioned a million times the only thing worse than M2 QC is the M2 web site. Just might be the worst web site ever for anything.
I buy m2 but note the quality problems. I bought the 1969 f100 with a slightly bend axle. I fixed it but would like not to see this. In sayi ng this they make some casyings of trucks, and that others do not make. Small problems i can deal with biggers are a problem even at 10.00 dollars canadian bug me. I expect a bit better. So far, i have good luck on the castings in bought so far. I have a version of the buick casting. The wheels are the big weakness of it but it works well otherwise.
M2's are so jinky. The chases and squarebodies are scalper bait. The rest of them just collect dust on the shelves and pegs. My local Walmarts are loaded with these. Nobody wants them.
Very good observation there my shallow minded friend...first thing is they are screwed together so you can customize without any customizing skills what so ever 2. They have really been coming out with some cool castings...3. they aren't forced down your throat so if you want to buy them buy them if you don't don't ....4 opinions are like assholes I'm sure you can get what I'm trying to convey here have a great day ....and champ keep doing what you do ..peace and love from tennessee
Where I am in NJ, M2 FLY of the shelves/pegs. Even the Coke licensed stuff. My guess? We're so diecast starved here people will buy anything to satisfy their cravings when they hunt...or they genuinely like them. I like some M2 castings, especially those without licensing.

M2 is nice, but Johnny Ligthning is another world!
Glad to see you show M2 stuff.
I remove unwanted tampos with acetone.
I have been getting more 1959 Cadillacs.
I now have 24 different ones.
Cool! Do you repaint it or what percent acetone is it?
100 percent acetone applied with a Q-tip. Rub lightly or you will remove the paint.
Big fan of that Grand national.
Never seen any of these looking forward to another great video 🔥
Really like those M2 vans
i have the 32 roadster, it`s a nice piece, will be looking out for the buicks, very nice
Awesome video i love the 32 Ford i only have one version of it though
The Buick regals are very cool looking the 32 ford is not bad looking at all 👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Yesssss!!! Same here!
According to Wyatt's JL website, the Buick is 1 / 61.6
The JL Regal is really nice. I'd get one if I wasn't a such a stickler to 'true 1/64'.
Good callout… we really don’t have any GNX that are truly 1:64

Very cool castings championdjk

10:30 blue is Racing Champions Mint from 2017, Release 1B i believe.

I remember your mom having that car hahaha! Jk

Yikes 😬 im sorry. Yeah, they're like $7 US here. I would NEVER pay anything more than that for an M2
Viva M2 Machines!@@seismic6435
I boughy the Crane Cams 4x van. I like it quite a bit.
Muy buenos coches lástima que sea muy limitados
You gotta go for the black and grey two tone Regal T from M2 to compliment the white one.
hello have you found the 2006 Chevy bonus cab in your area yet also the new auto world wagons are great

I just picked up one of the hotrods. Some how I dont believe the box 9000 pcs worldwide. There are 11,500 walmarts and mine has 6 of them.
I have a few.

That is a good question. I would probably have to measure to find out
The. New. M2. Machine. Buick. Regal. National. Casting. Plus more
I have the Guns and Roses GN

I find M2 vehicles are way better than Greenlight.

@@mrgray1228 Spoken like a person who has a lot of M2's. 🤭
@@TheCyberMantis 🤭 great comeback🤭✌️
@@mrgray1228 To be fair, I have some M2's. Some of them are pretty good.
