Than you man, you understand that there is a thousand of producers, beatmakers who don't have the money to spend 400 box in a VST. So thank you for that. I am of the opinion that if a person cannot afford to spend € 200, he can "borrow it" and then if he starts making money by becoming a music producer, this is the right time to pay for the plugin. There are producers who earn a lot of money who do not pay vst, in that case it is always bad, but I could instead understand a student who can not afford the vst and if it cracks it momentarily
@@komodinotubesco Disagree. I at one point had cracked a ton of music software. Nexus, Massive, FL Studio, Sylenth, etc. the big ones. Eventually felt bad and stopped producing until I could afford to pay for what I was using. I now own legitimate copies of all of those, as well As Komplete 12 and other softwares. If you don't have the money, stealing isn't an alternative.
I remember seeing a short video of Genesis way back in 2012, hoping I'd get to try it someday. A couple years later, I thought the project was abandoned. Now we're here and it's happening. It's remarkable how you found the time to work on this despite being busy and traveling all across the globe. Thanks for your dedication and hard work, this looks and sounds amazing! The only reason why this VST is so cheap is because it's 32-bit Win only, slow as hell, buggy and unintuitive (not user-friendly). Had he charged more money for it then I'm sure many would have requested a refund, but keeping a low price deters people from wanting a refund since it's just 1 euro. Genesis Pro is a complete flop unfortunately.

I cannot describe how incredible and inspirational your work is. I've always fallen into the loop of using mostly presets with just very small tweaks, as well-made VSTs are so daunting to dive into as well as being expensive. Somehow, Genesis manages to be the cheapest, most simple looking but expansive VSTs out there. Hyped.
I don't think that's a good way to look at it at all - he's able to do this because he's worth $107 million, he doesn't need the money, but more importantly it does not reflect the true worth of the software. But NOW everybody will want a professionally coded plugin with years of labour research and work that's gone into it for $1, this isn't necessarily a good thing for the industry to have a race to zero in this way. It reduces the ability for professional companies to recover their investment investment to making the product, so less people will be doing it. My opinion is that 1$ is cool, but it should be a limited number of sales restricted, then maybe a $5 dollar level for x number of sales, then $10, and maybe limit it at $15. Then maybe a voluntary tier for people who want to pay as much as possible because they see the value and can afford it. Don't get me wrong, this is a great bonus, but it shouldn't become the expectation.

@@eqh1593 you obviously dont know anything about digital sound... there is no such thing as a soundengine that can sound better or worse than another. the only thing that makes the sound different is how the antialiasing is programmed (f.e. serum has the best one so far). but there are a lot of other things that determine the sound. f.e. how the filters are implemented etc.
He is charging 1 Euro for the plugin because he is worth 107 million dollars (According to Forbes) And he doesn't need the money. I truly think this was a labor of love. I wish he had a way to donate, I'd pay 20 for the synth.
Or maybe there are a 1000 times more producers who can pay 1€ than users who can pay 200-300 €. I mean whatever it doesn't matter, it's still great for everyone, this is a good thing.

Just downloaded this and sounds amazing already with only just checking a few presets so far :) Btw thanks for adding the built in bridge for 64bit, Luckily enough i run my DAW without admin mode on & works fine for me upto now anyway and for £1.15 GBP it was always worth a shot either way. I fell in love with Sylenth because of those Ummet Ozcan presets, I can't wait to try this and I only hope it comes with some similar presets, can't believe it's 1 euro hopefully the only synth that won't be cracked in honouring the price. The brain part just had me perplexed. Unreal, congrats.

@@joehertz8903 the chip that access used for their synths has gone out of production so new models need a new chip plus a complete rework of the software which is a pain in the ass. I can imagine the lead programmer is not very excited about recreating the whole thing from scratch so its pretty much put on ice now.

Didn't see a single feature that felt really new. I've seen all of them in hard- and software synths. The super knob or whatever he calls it has been a funny mention since you see him playing a Yamaha Montage which is pretty much that same feature. But it still looks interesting and for 1€/$ it's pretty much unbeatable. I'm really looking forward to this!

My following comments are not to critisize but just so its known some of the things that are a bit buggy and/or could help: - A installation step by step (as it needs to be run on 64bit FL and run in admin) - A way to install on external drive not just C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steinberg\Vstplugins Bugs: I am using a 16gb i7 Dell Gaming Laptop to run with all background programs off. - Some sounds are very crackly , especially when playing more than one note at a time or on playback - Some preset cause crash (Don't play and you have to delete the plugin (On FL) and insert again, some that do this are: - When playing back pattern / Melody - Chords prests are very buggy - Setting matrix sometimes causes crash - Audition on some presets causes crash Thanks Still really appreciate and understand new software will have bugs :)

@@eqh1593 you obviously dont know anything about digital sound... there is no such thing as a soundengine that can sound better or worse than another. the only thing that makes the sound different is how the antialiasing is programmed (f.e. serum has the best one so far). but there are a lot of other things that determine the sound. f.e. how the filters are implemented etc.

He is charging 1 Euro for the plugin because he is worth 107 million dollars (According to Forbes) And he doesn't need the money. I truly think this was a labor of love. I wish he had a way to donate, I'd pay 20 for the synth.
Or maybe there are a 1000 times more producers who can pay 1€ than users who can pay 200-300 €. I mean whatever it doesn't matter, it's still great for everyone, this is a good thing.
Maybe buy 20 copies and do a give away? Get to pay 20 and pay it forward at the same time

I'd also pay more, if it would be possible. But man, this is bold move, but might be in the end of the day a great move. Like said above: might sell so many copies, that it ends up making way more money than some 150e release.
The trouble is it does not reflect the true worth of the software. But NOW everybody will want a professionally coded plugin with years of labour research and work that's gone into it for $1, this isn't necessarily a good thing for the industry to have a race to zero in this way. It reduces the ability for professional companies to recover their investment investment to making the product, so less people will be doing it.
My opinion is that 1$ is cool, but it should be a limited number of sales restricted, then maybe a $5 dollar level for x number of sales, then $10, and maybe limit it at $15. Then maybe a voluntary tier for people who want to pay as much as possible because they see the value and can afford it. Don't get me wrong, this is a great bonus for everybody in the community, but it shouldn't become the expectation.

Just downloaded this and sounds amazing already with only just checking a few presets so far :) Btw thanks for adding the built in bridge for 64bit, Luckily enough i run my DAW without admin mode on & works fine for me upto now anyway and for £1.15 GBP it was always worth a shot either way. Much respect

I fell in love with Sylenth because of those Ummet Ozcan presets, I can't wait to try this and I only hope it comes with some similar presets, can't believe it's 1 euro hopefully the only synth that won't be cracked in honouring the price. The brain part just had me perplexed. Unreal, congrats.

@@joehertz8903 the chip that access used for their synths has gone out of production so new models need a new chip plus a complete rework of the software which is a pain in the ass. I can imagine the lead programmer is not very excited about recreating the whole thing from scratch so its pretty much put on ice now.

Didn't see a single feature that felt really new. I've seen all of them in hard- and software synths. The super knob or whatever he calls it has been a funny mention since you see him playing a Yamaha Montage which is pretty much that same feature.
But it still looks interesting and for 1€/$ it's pretty much unbeatable. I'm really looking forward to this!

Thank you Ummet for your time and hard work. My following comments are not to critisize but just so its known some of the things that are a bit buggy and/or could help:
- A installation step by step (as it needs to be run on 64bit FL and run in admin)
- A way to install on external drive not just C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steinberg\Vstplugins
Bugs:
I am using a 16gb i7 Dell Gaming Laptop to run with all background programs off.
- Some sounds are very crackly , especially when playing more than one note at a time or on playback
- Some preset cause crash (Don't play and you have to delete the plugin (On FL) and insert again, some that do this are:
- When playing back pattern / Melody
- Chords prests are very buggy
- Setting matrix sometimes causes crash
- Audition on some presets causes crash

And then the Price of your Plugin.
