I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. McDaniel when i brought him on stage in the late 90's (i work at a radio station) I became a bigger fan than i was before...he was so nice and gracious...felt like I had known him for years... I must have done a good job because after the show we wanted me to go on tour with them and introduce him at every gig... RIP Mel
