    I met Jeff on the river several years ago. We talked for about 15 minutes. He showed me the flies that he likes to use. Then he said, "here try this one", he gave me one of his flies. Then he said, "here, here's another." I caught a steelhead on the first cast with the first fly that he gave me. Thanks Jeff. Truly a genuinely friendly and helpful guy.

      @@newflyfisher On the hook bend? I've seen people use the tag end from the first knot but they showed that getting cut off.
