We need to acknowledge that crazy comeback by the minty maniacs at the very beginning though. They dropped from funnel 4 to funnel 7 in just a few seconds, and then held in funnel 7 to take back the lead and eventually finish in a close 2nd. That was a crazy good play.
Coming in from 2021 as I had a wave of nastalgia and its absolutely amazing how far this channel has gone. I love the old content due to the simplicity of it (and the colour!) But how complex the courses have gotten is phenomenal! I also forget how old some of the current teams are ❤
Poor violets put in such a hard try getting some medals at the end there, but just couldn't bump their standings.. still was a joy to root for them and the wisps this tournament!

The Rubies were really close, despite what the points say. Green Gang had a 3.58 placing avg vs Ruby Roller's 3.83. All that separated them was The Green Gang having 1 more win than the Ruby Rollers.

It is amazing to me how much the production value has improved for this channel in the last few years. This is still great, but the new stuff is just amazing.
It would be kinda cool if in future marble leagues, these old teams like the blackjacks or team phoenix could eventually have the possibility to compete as well. If that were to occur though, some of their designs would have to be altered, as some of them resemble currently existing teams way too much. For example the ruby rollers and rojo rollers would be very difficult to tell apart if raced against one another in the same heat.

The thing is that the Ruby Rollers would be confused with the Rojo Rollers, Bluefastics with the Oceanics, Team Phoenix with Team Primary, and Green Gang with Team Momo. Valiant Violets were meant to join 2018, but looked too similar to grey teams like the Shining Swarm, so they apparently merged with the Bluefastics to get the Raspberry Racers. Black Jacks and Golden Wisps (now Golden Orbs) were both in the 2018 qualifiers, but both missed out and then retired for Hubelino Tournament 2018. Minty Maniacs also retired originally (even though they qualified in 2018), but returned to the showdown with the Bumblebees for coming 2nd and 1st respectively. EDIT: The Black Jacks have returned to the ML too.
You should have done what they do in pentathlon/decathlon, where they stagger the start time for the final event based on points from all the other events!
I’ve been looking at marble league teams wikis and I found that razzy and rozzy and rezzy and rizzy from the raspberry racers joined the Bluefastics and valiant violets so they are in this tournament!

I get that it makes it exciting because getting 1st in round matters more than anything else, and some wild comebacks can happen. Because 2nd place gets -5 points from 1st, and 3rd (-3) from 2nd it's hard to hold onto a lead without winning again. BUT it causes instances where Minty Maniacs have 4 Top 3's and 5 Top 5's, making them the 3rd most consistent team yet is rated 7th?? And Team Phenoix where they have 2 wins, 2 Top 3's, and the other 8 GAMES they were 6-8th and somehow got carried to 4th?? They're tied with Valiant Violets, the consistently worst team for Average Placings! Again, I understand that this isn't skill-based, they're marbles and not "real racers" so adding more excitement to the standings and making the finals matter, making it still a show to the very end and not a single marble winning by default at round 9. A little confused by the last round. You said the team who knocks the red ball to the other teams side got the point, however, half the rounds didn't give the teams any points for hitting the red ball to the other side (particularly the tied game that got the Black jacks eliminated >:(

The Black Jacks completely choked away this tournament. They started off with a good lead and seemingly fell asleep midway through. Very disappointed.

The red ball needs to fall into the opposite blue zone for the point to be awarded, it doesn't give any point if it stays on the main platform.
