Yes, I have to search every nook and cranny when I'm playing. It makes games take waaay longer than I think they do for most normal people, but I can't help myself. Truth be told, I think I prefer the outside ones too, but I like to mix it up a bit now and again. Thanks for watching :)
Brilliant, I love that you know the lore and can talk about it. I like watching these more than playing the game now because your gfx are so much better than on my set up haha.
I'm also a complete kleptomaniac with this game as well as a total perfectionist.. though that's true of most RPGs for me. Great video (lovely mods!) and narration as always. I think I prefer your 'outside' ones, though; I really like listening to you describing the scenery and environment. It's very hypnotic. Thank you.
+ODST Brooks I did, and in retrospect, my reply makes no sense. I'm gonna guess I replied to the wrong comment, given that the OP was 2 years ago and my reply was 10 months ago.
I love all your videos man, really awesome high-quality stuff. I'm positive more people will pick up on your work. Virtual ASMR gold mine waiting to be tapped! Keep it up buddy.
I do have Oblivion, and you're right about there being some great graphics mods for it. Once upon a time I had it all prettied up with enhanced shaders and the works, but that was a few installs ago. I like your idea, and if I have the time I'll reinstall, fancy it up again, and record a video to see if you guys like it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for the suggestion! You know, I haven't actually played New Vegas yet, but I did pick it up during the Steam summer sale for $5. I have a few other games I'd like to do videos of first, like Proteus and Dear Esther, but once I've sunk some time into NV I'll have a better idea of how it would work for ASMR. The nice thing is, since it's based on the precursor to Skyrim's engine, many of the console commands I use for my Skyrim wander will probably work in NV.
Haha, yeah. Sometimes unexpected stuff happens while I'm recording and I'm like "how do I deal with this?" It can be hard to take stuff in stride and integrate it into the narrative. Often, if I start getting really descriptive about a given thing, it's a good sign I don't know what else to say and I'm just trying to fill space :P.
Man if you really search for the mods this game becomes exquisite to explore- I have a few but I'm off to find the ones you're rocking. Great video mate cheers you have a new subscriber :)
Haha, the opposite actually. I usually have a drink of water before recording. The mouth noises happen because I whisper very close to a very sensitive mic, and it just picks up a bunch of stuff we don't normally hear. I also edit the sound slightly to emphasize higher frequencies, which makes those sounds a bit more apparent.
Stumbled upon your wandering series whilst watching one of Ephemeral Rift's Let's Play's. I gotta say, is there anything here you haven't done perfectly? This has to be the first ASMR I've actually tried to stay awake though just to bask in the ambience and beauty! Have you ever considered attaching a camera to a gimble and recording one of your hikes in this manner? Would be nice to share the experience of the real thing, ASMR style ;)
Thanks for the suggestion! At one point that mod had been removed from Skyrim Nexus because it was causing save game corruption or somesuch, but maybe it's been fixed by now, I'll look into it again!
This is surely the greatest ASMR series to ever hit RUclips, oddly enough it fuels my urge to play Skyrim by tenfold. Do you run any mods? (Other than being invisible of course)
Very kind of you to say so! I run a TON of mods, both visual and gameplay. Check the video description of my latest Skyrim Wander video for a relatively up-to-date list of visual and sound mods :)
Oh i love this series im sure your busy with your daily life but my god please keep them comming its amazing oh and also i was wondering how come nothing attacks u or runs from you when you get close is that a mod??
Great idea, the loneliness and mystery of the Myst series would fit ASMR really well! I'll add it to the list, although it might be a while before I get to it.
you got the best mods up and running. I'm having such a hard time getting the enb mods to work and not CTD. I know I have the system for it, but I'm doing something wrong. Any good guide you know of that could help. The one I found on Reddit is good until I get to enbs. Thanks. Nice video too.
The ambient dungeon sounds can be kind of bass-heavy. It sounds OK on my headphones, but I guess yours are tuned more for the low end. Glad you still enjoyed it though :)
I installed it using Nexus Mod Manager, which I highly recommend. I don't remember having any issues with the installation. What was the specific problem you ran into?
Do you have Oblivion? If so, there are some very good graphical mods out there. I eould really enjoy it if you did a "Wandering in" Oblivion video. Love your videos!
I've played this game for so long now that it had begun to become boring to me ( as did morrowind and oblivion for the same reason) but this has just rekindled my love if it. Led here in my tent and all I can think now is "I must go my people need me!"
Well Tolkien was more realistic than you can imagine... He personally visited several areas in Belarus where old people told him stories which are equivalent with the Wars of gods... described in Mahabharata, Rig Veda; he used these stories in his Lord of the rings.
Hey is there any way you could make these downloadable for like a music file my god i could listen to this forever please dont stop the skyrim vids to me your vids keep skyrims essence alive
Haha, sometimes when you lose your sense of wonder, the game starts to feel stale. I just try to rekindle that :). Also, mods can make an old game seem fresh!
I have a suggestion. Might it be possible to record these series in 60 frames per second instead of 30? It would make movements look much smoother and more realistic and thus the experience more enjoyable.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'd love to record at 60 FPS, but with all these graphics mods my GPU just isn't up to the task. Now, If somebody wanted to send a GTX 780 Ti (or two) my way, that'd be a different matter ;)
+delilah022809 Not sure I see that particular face, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were some faces hidden in the rocks. There are definitely patterns and designs carved into them.
chances are it's more to do with psychology than game design. for some reason our brains our in overdrive with facial recognition so we tend to see a lot more, part of the reason haunted house stories are so prevalent. would be cool if it were intended though, someone should make the mod.
Because it's a fictional universe and the 'Nords' you speak of aren't the Nords you may be familiar with. It's not entirely created in the United States, either. They take certain aspects from actual cultures, for example, the architecture is reminiscent of the Vikings, and put it into the game.
I usually download mods or use cheats to enlarge my carrying capacity because I want to collect every damn little thing.... I mean who doesn't want to own 78 skulls a ton of Iron Ore and a whole swimming pool filled with soul gems haha
I love how he creates a story/plot to help you immerse yourself into the video
This the best asmr vid ever it always knocks me out and calms me down. So thank you. :)
When all other asmr vids fail, your wandering in skyrim vids always do the trick I don't think I've ever seen the end to one
Yes, I have to search every nook and cranny when I'm playing. It makes games take waaay longer than I think they do for most normal people, but I can't help myself.
Truth be told, I think I prefer the outside ones too, but I like to mix it up a bit now and again. Thanks for watching :)
Best asmr videos I have yet to find. I listen while im falling asleep and you make the imagery great since I dont.actually watch:) Make more please!!
I appreciate your patience, and your kind words. I hope to have the next Skyrim wander finished this weekend :)
Brilliant, I love that you know the lore and can talk about it. I like watching these more than playing the game now because your gfx are so much better than on my set up haha.
Fantastic work as always, your narration is very immersive and definitely triggers.
I'm also a complete kleptomaniac with this game as well as a total perfectionist.. though that's true of most RPGs for me. Great video (lovely mods!) and narration as always. I look forward to these videos every time I go on RUclips! Thanks again!
"The ancient nords were many things, but subtle was not one of them" So agreed,
Sounds badass!
theASMRnerd didn't you say that in the video lol
+ODST Brooks I did, and in retrospect, my reply makes no sense. I'm gonna guess I replied to the wrong comment, given that the OP was 2 years ago and my reply was 10 months ago.
Patiently waiting for your next skyrim video. They're amazing, thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
7:36
"something over here. something..shiny" lmao
Who doesn't like shiny things?
***** some, but you do. surprising. you seem so composed. like, beethoven. Such sound, wow. jaja
^ lol i was so *_* from your asmr i forgot how to english
Laura Gilbert That's exactly what I like to hear :)
I love all your videos man, really awesome high-quality stuff. I'm positive more people will pick up on your work. Virtual ASMR gold mine waiting to be tapped! Keep it up buddy.
This really is such a beautiful game, Bethesda did a really good job! Great series by the way, I genuinely hope for more if you are able :D
Thanks! The combination of the ENB and Realistic Lighting Overhaul creates really dark, spooky dungeons, just how I like it.
Another great video, two of my favourite things in one.
Glad you enjoy them! I wonder how many people are like you, and listen but don't watch? Either way, yes, I'll absolutely be making more :)
Glad to hear it! Some people like them, others don't, but I personally find mouth sounds relaxing too.
This is amazing. Please keep doing more of video games such as these.
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it! I'll definitely be doing more gameplay ASMR videos, Skyrim and more.
This is SO great! Seriously. Thank you :)))
My pleasure, so glad you enjoyed it!

Only you can make Dungeoneering so relaxing and soothing! :D 😃👌🙂😴
Awesome idea man and very well done!
Man if you really search for the mods this game becomes exquisite to explore- I have a few but I'm off to find the ones you're rocking. Great video mate cheers you have a new subscriber :)
It must have been hard to not, laugh when you see that random guy standing there haha! Great vids

This is pretty amazing job!
I'm happy to hear it, and I hope they continue to do the trick for you!

Love it! Keep up the grest work! Any idea on when the next skyrim video will be?
Mods can make a world of difference. Thanks for the sub!
Thanks for the suggestion! At one point that mod had been removed from Skyrim Nexus because it was causing save game corruption or somesuch, but maybe it's been fixed by now, I'll look into it again!

"And another soul gem, which I will snag. I can't resist shinny things"
Made me lol
I swear. One more awesome vid. And im subbed.
You may rest assured that more awesome videos are forthcoming :)
Thank you! So glad you decided to try out making your own vids, I'll check out your channel :)
These are amazing. Do you know if you can download the music from Skyrim?
I plan to get to Solstheim eventually, but when I can't say. The wander kind of has a mind of its own :)
This voice/whisper on a Myst LP would be amazing!:D
Great idea, the loneliness and mystery of the Myst series would fit ASMR really well! I'll add it to the list, although it might be a while before I get to it.
very good as always, and also may i recommend trying out the mod: Sounds of Skyrim - The Wilds. adds many new wildlife sounds to the game.
Also I play Skyrim too, its the bomb!! :] Love these videos!

I love the mouth
Sounds so relaxing to me
It's a beautiful area, and I'll most certainly get there eventually :)
I installed it using Nexus Mod Manager, which I highly recommend. I don't remember having any issues with the installation. What was the specific problem you ran into?
These videos are awesome :)
I know this doesn't relate to asmr, but how did you install the 2k texture pack. I've been trying for a couple days and can't figure it out.
No one can resist the shiny things.
Thank you :)
I did that do a shot thing and did about twenty shots (i think i donèt know) before passing out thanks asmrnerd you're the best
So I'm guessing the thief classes are your favorite ;D
More like, theASMRnord.
I like how long these are getting.
Glad it's up your alley, thanks for the sub :)

How ever a great ASMR video
Skyrim>IRL
Loving the Skyrim vids, moar! :)

TIL that some people can actually watch more than a few seconds before slipping into unconsciousness.
is anyone else seeing random faces in rock formations for example at 23:29 you see the face of a man in the ceiling as he comes up the stairs
+delilah022809 Not sure I see that particular face, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were some faces hidden in the rocks. There are definitely patterns and designs carved into them.

It’s very subtle but I do see it
how can you pass near creatures and make that they don´t attack you?
I use the console command "tdetect" to make my character undetectable to AI.
a ok i didn´t know that command
Just FYI, it only works on PC.
yeah i know it thanks
I'll second this!
ohhhhh yeeaaaaah
Shinies
(Pulls chain) dragur: wtf!?!?

Hi. c: I think you should do a video game shoppe roleplay.. you know, coz its nerdy. I think it would be great and I really wanna see your face!
Yay :3
On to #9!
You should honestly do a wondering in "new vegas" or DC wasteland.
I usually download mods or use cheats to enlarge my carrying capacity because I want to collect every damn little thing.... I mean who doesn't want to own 78 skulls a ton of Iron Ore and a whole swimming pool filled with soul gems haha
You must have a crazy ass pc!
Intriguing, but highly disturbing.
ASMRnerd, you need to post these videos more regular. essential viewing.
Wow headphones are growling from all the bass.. Better without them. I like the wanders and ur stories about them.
Do wandering skyrim - dragonborn dlc
So goooo..... Zzzzzzz
Elder scrolls online anyone?
Thank you :)
