Hello President Dixon: Thank you for your continued strong leadership in all areas of CalRTA's agenda. It is great to see that there may be a vote on HR 82 next week. I remember a strategy meeting in Sacramento over 20 years ago when this issue was first taken up and included as one of our priorities. An impassioned plea from one our members from Chico was taken seriously and made a part of our future advocacy positions. This movement has been fueled by the many individuals who have been harmed and those of us who were not, but joined the effort to help remove this unjust set of rules. In the hope of victory, we salute you and those many members and citizens across the country who are making this happen. Sincerely, Anthony E Ramirez, Past President SFCalRTA Division 36
