I see some people running the 1st tripod on the 3rd row for rage spear,why is that? it can work also? And also what do you think about spinning dagger with judgement and shadow storm with conviction?
Running the crit tripod? It can work but its generally a lower dps option for hunger - you normally want to build enough crit that brand/silent rage are already 90%+, so having an extra 10% on rage spear would make it overcap. On top of that missing the 9s cdr can make it feel significantly slower while not giving that much damage in return (as opposed to something like silent rages afterimage vs quick prep) CJ is generally just a poor option - if youre going to use 2 rune slots youre better off just putting 2 quick prep runes on.
I’m seeing a lot more reapers going the combat stat distribution u have 1200 spec 1000 swift or 50/50. Can u explain why? I know the cd loss evens out with better gems but doesn’t 1000 swift not fulfill raid captain efficiency? I’m curious because I’m main swapping to my reaper and will give her ancient accessories and +1 soon. Also is ss ur +1?
you cap raid captain at 1048 swift, with less you can make up for it with an atk+movespd feast. If you're close to 1048 its good enough, youll gain more damage from the spec scaling than you do trying to maximise the 0.2% dmg from raid captain you might be missing if youre at like 1000 or so. my +1 is either EP1 if i play adr3 or adr1 if i play kbw3. i use stab status to simulate a semi-stacked EP in the trix test since a fully stacked one is a bit stronger and an unstacked one is a bit weaker.
New trying to learn Repearer. I am confused watching your rotation.you never use your Z. I thought it was all about staying in that as much as possible
This is Hunger reaper, this class engraving does not use Z. Instead it fills both the purple and red bars to activate the "chaos mode" buff. Lunar reaper is the other class engraving and it makes you deal a lot more damage after you press Z, that's probably the one you're looking for.

So im actually stuck in a hard spot, my reaper is 1610 event gems with 2 lvl9 dmg gems . 5x3+1 mass increase build 860 spec 1548 swif and im barley hitting like 13mil in trixion is there a reason for that or do i just suck
hard to say without seeing your trix parse, if you visit the reaper channel in the discord and post a video of your parse you can get some better feedback, post with more details such as cardset, elixirs, quals, etc
its rage spear (q) with the execution tripod and shadow vortex (f) which reduces the cooldown of red skills by 1.9s when used. This gate in particular has a buff (Rakathus' Blood) when you pick up the red orbs that grants a very substantial cooldown reduction buff at the cost of making you lose 90% of your hp if you get hit. With the cooldown reduction from the buff, the cooldown of rage spear gets reduced to just over 2 seconds, which allows for shadow vortex to instantly put it back off cooldown for use again.
Spinning Dagger also has bleed tripods - you generally pick from Spinning Dagger, Reaper's Call, or Deathscythe to be the green filler. I prefer Spinning Dagger because it moves you forward so it's easier to hit compared to Reaper's Call which glues you in place. However Reaper's Call has weak point on it which is why I swap to it for gate 3 and 4 (lots of destruction checks in those gates).
@@mastakillah3539 Taking a green skill with bleed rune is worth ~5% dps. Conv/Judge doesn't match that when you take shadow trap which is basically a 0dps skill, its probably worth in the realm of 2% dps. You could theoretically run c/j with spinning dagger but even then it's kinda... not super good. You can kind of see in the video how there's already not a ton of downtime on skills in general, having more cdr won't really do much.
i dont think full swift is that good esp now that we have more skills to press - skills off cd is dmg wasted high spec (like 1600) is good with full 10s but a bit too slow for my taste
@@Nooodlicious viable can mean a lot of things, youll still clear raids just fine but generally taking shadow storm (assuming thats what they replaced) will be a 2-4% damage gain over double greens
@@jay9404 post update cursed doll and kbw are basically the same value, especially if you use atros. basically just personal preference, i went kbw because i prepurchased the build and took advantage of the fact that they were dirt cheap pre update since it was not meta back then. regarding adr1 vs adr3/ep1, adr3 will end up overcapping crit when a crit syn exists in the party and as a result will have lower performance than adr1 in both parties with a crit syn as well as short duration fights like guardian raids. If you already have an adr1 build i wouldn't bother swapping to adr3.
@@Nyaaatt thanks for the detailed response and I read as such in the community guide. I think the primary driver for me switching is the comfort of not having cons that curse doll comes with. I mainly pug, so usually I don't have crit syn.

Why not shadow trap with judgement conviction ( shadow storm and shadow trap) as a filler?

WOW You're insane :) I was happy for hitting 15 mil trixion parse on my 1540 reaper lol. Have you tried full swift or full spec?
