Very nice so simple compared to the others on RUclips, you can really think with !

No one shows how to wire in series or if they are postion sensitive

How to wire the contacts in series if you had two detectors such as supply and return? Same as any "switch" in any application. Go from your controlled device and wire into the contact of the first detector and then back out. Then take that wire into the next detector and back out and over to the controlled device.

Position sensitive? They can be mounted in any rotation if that is what you are asking. You can put them sideways or upside down. You do, however, need to mount them so the sampling probe goes perpendicular to the airflow. And you need to mount that probe so it goes the long distance of the duct (if you have a 2ft x 5ft duct, you need a 5 ft sampling tube)

How do you wire to t-stat

You would not normally do that. A normal thermostat doesn't have an input for a smoke detector. And even if it did, code will still require you to hardwire the detector to shut off the fan so you would only use the extra alert contacts of a smoke detector to signal to your BAS or stat.

@@TECTubefilms I wire t-stat like a float switch... from the control board I run 24v to smoke detector and I jump 24v to C . From T-stat I run R to NC and I wire G,Y,W and C to the control board...
