Tracks take these little guys to a whole new level. If you've run a wheeled machine for any length of time you can relate

A older rubber tire mechanical trencher sure beats a shovel.....but we agree that our new C Series track machines are easiest to dig sir. Thanks for reaching out

Tracks still slip though if you go too deep on first pass

I own a 1030 and 98% of the time they get the job done but when you hit hard pan you are better off renting one of these if you can’t afford to buy it at 16k I ran into 2 trenching jobs for backyard Irrigation nothing big about 250’ at 12” deep and it took me and my 1030 walk behind trencher 4 hrs to trench 40’ so i hired someone else who happened to be working next door it took him 40 min to trench 210’. Another aspect to keep in mind is you don’t have to grease the pivot- augur every 2 hrs of operation because it lubricates its self with hydraulic fluid and that is genius don’t believe me take a look at my $3202.76 ditch witch repair bill due to previous owner not keeping up with maintenance

Can one of these be fitted to do concrete and asphalt? I need a clean trench at 12" to 14" deep?

Concrete....No.....you'd have to use concrete saw to cut it 1st and remove the chunks, then trench the soil underneath. Asphalt....possibly......if it is "thin"/approx.
