In you look at the number of "views" on this song compared to the other songs in today's episode, I think the judges missed what appeals to the broad range of the audience.

What sometimes is catchy and impressive to begin with fades very quickly. I just think The Voice has higher aspirations. And the ones who are picked to do blind auditions are also picked. The Voice Norway has been acclaimed for it's consistent talent, and that includes the ones that does not get turned chairs. If you listen to the judges, they point out that she sounds amazing, but she missed on the concept of the story with the sentiment she was telling it in. It just did not fit, and made no sense. It is a very clear thing that she needs to focus on and work on in the future, and by pointing this out, the judges actually help and give her direction. Which is the point of having judges/mentors in this show.

After all, they are not just judges, but also mentors who have an opportunity to nurture and mold talent. If lack of emotional delivery was the only reason for not turning, why not take this opportunity to guide her and unlock her full potential? Let's hope this doesn't discourage her. Hopefully there is another platform out there waiting to showcase her voice.

At ikke Andrine gikk videre er rett og slett en skandale. Hun hadde en av de vakreste stemmene jeg har hørt på The Voice, ikke bare denne sesongen. De trykker på deltakere som er LANGT svakere. Dette handler ikke om Norges beste stemme lenger, men hvilke låter dommerne liker og hvordan DE mener låtene skal synges. Rett og slett pinlig at hun ikke gikk videre. Få Matoma tilbake! Andrine er bedre enn 90% av de som har gått videre! Samme skjedde ifjor når Kristian (som var en av de beste) ikke engang ble stjålet. Jeg er ganske lei av Ina som aldri tar egne valg og alltid snur seg mot de andre og ser hva de gjør, og trykker først etter at de andre har trykket. Ta egne valg! Dette er ikke et teamwork der man skal diskutere seg frem til hvem de skal trykke på. Yosef og Jarle trykker alltid uavhengig av de andre. Det eneste Ina gjør er å sitte og kritisere under opptredenen «er det nerver, nervøs, sangen skal ikke synges sånn…blabla». Kan hun ikke holde seg til det hun gjør bra, som tilbakemeldingene ETTER opptreden. All småpraten (også Espen og Yosef) under hver eneste opptreden er fryktelig irriterende å høre på, spesielt når de bare gjentar de samme ordene hver eneste gang (GANSKE bra, nerver, nervøs…). Jarle har iallefall litt respekt under opptredenen og er stille og lytter. Det er deltakerne som skal være i sentrum, ikke mentorene og publikum (altfor mye klipping hit og dit også). De siste årene er blitt mer og mer ødelagt fordi mentorene skravler under opptredenen (som de ikke gjorde tidligere). Lene Marlin, Morten Harket, Sondre Lerche, Matoma.. hørte aldri de sitte å kommentere og prate sånn hele tiden, hvis det da ikke var for å uttrykke hvor bra de synes det var…. Dette småpratet drev ikke Espen og Yosef med tidligere heller som de har begynt med denne weeongen og til dels sist sesong).

I so agree with you! I knew the song was familiar, but the way she covered it made it so much better, going right into the heart instead of just moving hips on the dance floor. Can't believe they didn't see that!
Whats funny (or tragic really), is that they were questioning the way she sang the lyrics (which I thought was absolutely beautiful) and at the same time they all praised both Jørgen Dahl Moe who sang Bruce Springsteen’s «Dancing in the Dark» and Oda Dahl who sang Bon Jovi’s «It’s my life» in a completely different way. Both of them were amazing of course and deserved all the praise. Andrine’s own version was flawless. They always ask for personality and to not copy original, and still they didnt push for this beautiful voice?? They shouldnt get away with their vague feedback. There must have been another reason cause they usually turn straight away for a voice like this. They cant have had any spots left which is very weird. There cant be other explainations for them to miss this fantastic audition. I’m still so annoyed!

It was literally a CRIME that Andrine didnt go through!! The only reason I can think of for them not turning is there were no spots left and she was the last out. Her voice was literally one of the best! Their reasonings for not turning also was very vague, like «the meaning in the song is supposed to be sung with more attitude and anger» etc. This was the worst nom-turn of the whole season. The same as not stealing or picking Kristian («Fly») in the battles last year.
Well if I was here and that was the reason for them not turning for me, I wouldn't be mad, all the opposite. I would have thanked them because it would be the wrong place to be, the wrong mindset. I'm with you on this one, it was a crime not turning for her. I really hope for the best for her 🤍
I think people forget one thing. The name of the show is "The voice" not "The song". She has a better voice than most singers I have seen on this show. Not seeing her move on really hurts as I think she could have gone all the way 😢😢

I lost faith in the judges and the concept of this contest after this 100% wrong decision by the judges. They should have a "people's" vote incorporated in this show.
This is the best version of the song by her , most singers who sing this song sing it note for note same tempo but this version by her is 100% fantastic , not sure what the judges are thinking but this is by far and by a landslide top notch singing great vocals I can listen to her all day
Unless a contestant's voice/texture is truly unique, then I think that the coaches like to wait for/hear the singer, demonstrate that they have an ability to hit...and hold....a high note.

This may be one of the worst decisions these judges had ever made. I know there is a lot of talent over there and that may be one of the reasons judges are way too “specific” on what they want but come on! Her voice is why this show is called The Voice. She is a Voice. I really hope she tries again or on another show like The X Factor.

Jeg håper virkelig ikke at hun gir opp på grunn av dette. Hadde hun valgt hvilken som helst annen sang (fordi mentorene var alt for fokuserte på hvordan de er vandt til å høre sangen) kunne hun kommet ekstremt langt. Det så ut som det preget henne hardt. Hadde Matoma vært der hadde hun gått videre. Han hadde ikke latt denne juvelen gå.
This was gorgeous! Not fair! Where is Matoma? He would have turned for this! I suppose that if Andrine had done this as the original, overblown version she may have gotten through, so sad that her emotional laid back version didn’t make it.

Der dreit dommerne på leggen. Du var mye flinkere enn mange andre som gikk videre. Husk at mange vinnere av the voice har man glemt og dem har ikke lyktes etterpå. Men andre deltakere som ikke nådde opp har det gått bedre for😊
To those who wondering why the judges don’t turn. I believe we are hearing an auto-tuned version whilst they are hearing the authentic vocals.
