Go for it ! The best advice I can give is having a well thought our trip planned and book private guides for everything so you don't feel alone. That might also give them a peace of mind, knowing you have everything planned out and ready for when you get there.
A question please During your stay do you keep your passport with you as ID at all the time when you are out ? Or do you keep it in the hotel and just have a copy of it? My concern is I may lose it and I’ll be in trouble coming back home but in the same time I need an ID and the passport is an ID since you are not local Egyptian citizen with ID

Fortunately, I went in December before the restrictions so I did not have to get any covid tests done for entering back into the US. I did however do a PCR test going.

Hi love. I went before the USA was requiring a test to enter so I'm not sure how that works but it was fairly smooth. Just have your paperwork printed and they will check you off at each stop point.

I felt completely safe my entire trip. There wasn't anything going on that affected tourists and people are generally really friendly. Im sure you will enjoy yourself !

I have been to Egypt twice and yes travelled alone, first time stayed in Cairo 2nd time stayed in Alexandria. Loved it both times.
