Effect by Ellen Wille is a 12" synthetic lace front topper. The lace is very well done on this piece and if it had been the right length for me, it would have made it into my normal rotation!! Check it out here:

I purchased this topper and sent it back. I have other toppers that work better. Loved the idea of the lace front. The lace front is nice, although this topper runs small as described in the video. There is a hump at the top of the head/does not lay flat at the back of the topper. The two clips on the temples need hair to anchor the piece, so if you are thin there, it will hurt or not work. The clips will need to be moved back in order to grab hair. Other videographers have used It Stays, thus gluing it into place, for this piece, which to me defeats the idea of a topper. Also, don't expect a lot of hair. Just saying. I think Lauren covered all the downsides. Wishing better luck than I had to those who purchase.

Looks good. This is the one I'm leaning towards. I don't have any hair where the 2 front clips are. Is that an issue with this piece or can I move them?
