I have played the clarinet since I was in elementary school but haven't practiced in the last few years since moving to an apartment complex. It's been a longing in my heart to play again. Your video has my wheels turning - maybe I can find a way to take lessons and ask my neighbors if I could practice during the day.

My body and brain have melted and I'm sitting here thinking, "What's the point of all this knitwear if it'll always be too hot to wear??" But, I continue on. I've got three projects that I'm slowly working through. I'll have to make a video about it soon!

A piano should, if at all possible, not be placed in front of a window...or even on an outside wall. There are lots of things that can go wrong with your piano as a result of those placements. I know you said you've moved things around and made space...but maybe you could do that again so that your piano is safely against an inside wall? Just in case you weren't aware. :)

I think it's got its own set of challenges, but you may be right in general. I'd think the rhythms and the bowing would be tricky, but easier on the left hand - I don't see fiddler players shift much. Fiddle would be fun!

I think both your piano and your violin pieces were amazing.
I think I understand though, what you mean when you say the piano is a more forgiving instrument. Well, as long as it's tuned at least.

I'm more comfortable with piano to listen, something to do with the tone matching the human voice, the pieces you played really spoke, and the playing was astonishing, I've never heard such emotional & note-perfect playing. Ever.
And you composed the pieces too?? Do you realise how incredible this is, I fear you are in search of an elusive perfection when you're ALREADY at that level and an equal of most professionals??
As for stringed instruments, I'm not a super fan, but your expression of dismay was so funny... Your striving will surely allow you to break through to the top level in whatever instrument you choose.
Your love of the process is clear from the short piece, you may call it struggles but it is sweet and tuneful.
