you could use cutscenes, trailers/gameplay trailers, and normal gameplay as footage.

the problem I have with your videos is that practically all of them are made with cinematics, cutscenes or trailer content and no actual gameplay. yeah it looks cooler because its all content that was meant to sell the game but it doesn't show off any original ideas as the gameplay is the part that can change. this isn't to say I didn't like the videos I saw. its just that it says to me that you don't work all that hard for your content.
First off ouch.
Secondly, if you want to try something with your idea then go on ahead and make it. I'll be sure to critic it.
Thirdly, this is on what envisioned while making it and as the saying goes there is no wrong way to show your art since it's an expression of you.
Tbh I really like them either way, if he wants to use cinematic,cutscenes or trailers, and the actually fit the music he chooses, let him do it, if you want a gameplay gmv make one yourself
+Wolverine2101 I'm not telling him to stop. As I said in my previous comment I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the video. I'm just remarking on the fact that not as much effort is put into matching video ,made by someone else, up with music than using actual gameplay. It's easy to download video and match it with music, look how big the amv community is. As for a "gameplay"mv I have made one. It took weeks to make and longer to get the content. plus it was made with the PlayStation SHAREfactory which has some issues. Feel free to check it out or don't. I'm not into self-advertising.

The main reason is its convenient. I record alot of footage mainly for funny montages. around 80 gigs of footage currently. I don't have a capture card. I just record using PS4's save video feature and moving video files to a drive from PS4 for some reason takes insanely long, this is the main problem. It takes longer than moving files from a laptop or computer by about triple. Maybe its just my PS4 but whatever.
And as per what I said before; It already takes alot of time to get the footage. Plus I don't have any good editing software at the moment. And with university I don't have to spend on making videos without convenience. Its a shame but it is how it is. Appreciate the suggestion however.
